1. General Safety Instructions

1.1 Personal Safety

WARNING:

• Before using the device, consult your doctor to ensure it is suitable for your health. This is particularly important for individuals with pacemakers or other medical devices that may be affected by electromagnetic interference.
• Individuals with cardiovascular diseases.
• Pregnant women, sick individuals, or those in poor physical condition.
• Individuals advised against massages due to pre-existing conditions (e.g., vascular diseases or dermatitis).
• Individuals suffering from osteoporosis, vertebral fractures, or other acute illnesses.
• Individuals with irregular spinal curvature.
• Individuals with sensory impairment due to peripheral circulatory disorders (e.g., diabetes).
• This device is not permitted for use by children under 14 years of age.
• Children should not be allowed near the device unsupervised.
• Individuals with disabilities must be under strict observation when using this device.
• The device must not be used by more than one person simultaneously.
• Do not use the device with a blanket or pillow. This can lead to overheating of the device, resulting in electric shock, fire, and/or personal injury.
• Do not use the device in rooms where aerosol sprays or oxygen are administered.
• Keep hands, feet, other body parts, hair, clothing, jewelry, and other objects away from moving parts to prevent entanglement.
• Do not use the device on swollen and/or inflamed body parts or irritated skin areas.
• Do not use the device on painful body regions where the cause of pain is unclear.
• If you experience unusual discomfort during use, turn off the device and discontinue use. Consult your doctor.
• Use a light massage program for the first use. Avoid massage sessions longer than 15 minutes and do not massage any body part for more than 5 minutes at a time. Excessive massage can lead to overstimulation of muscles and nerves, potentially causing injury.

CAUTION:

• Use the device only in a relaxed position. Do not apply localized pressure to specific body regions.
• This device is not a medical device. It should never replace medical treatment.

ATTENTION:

• Do not insert any objects into the device openings.
• Do not place any heavy objects on the device.

1.2 Electrical Safety

DANGER:

• To reduce the risk of electric shock, unplug the device from the socket after use and before maintenance or cleaning. Do not pull the cable.
• To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the device if you have come into contact with water or are in a damp environment.

WARNING:

• Do not leave the device unattended while the power plug is inserted into the wall socket. Remove the power plug when you are away to prevent improper use by third parties or children.
• If the power cord or plug is damaged or defective, contact your dealer. The device must not be used until it is repaired.

ATTENTION:

• The device requires a power connection of 220-230 V with 50 Hz mains voltage.
• The device must only be connected directly to a grounded socket using the supplied power cord. Extension cords must comply with VDE guidelines. Always fully unwind the power cord.
• The socket must be protected by a fuse with a minimum rating of "16 A, slow-acting".
• Do not modify the power cord or plug in any way.
• Keep the device and its power cord away from water, heat, oil, and sharp edges. Do not run the power cord under the device or carpet, and do not place objects on it.
• Do not remove the power plug before the device has been switched off.

1.3 Location of Use

WARNING:

• Do not place the device in main passageways or escape routes.
• To prevent fires, do not place the device near or in rooms with high heat (e.g., near a heater).

CAUTION:

• Choose an installation location that provides sufficient clearance around the device. Note that the device requires sufficient rear clearance when in the reclined position.

ATTENTION:

• The device may only be used indoors in sufficiently temperate and dry rooms (ambient temperatures between 10°C and 35°C). Use outdoors or in rooms with high humidity (over 70%), such as swimming pools, is not permitted.
• To prevent fading or premature wear of the cover, avoid placing the device in locations with direct sunlight and/or high heat.

3. Operation

The device features an On/Off button, indicated by a power symbol [⏻].

1. To turn on the device and start the massage and heat function, press the On/Off button. The massage will begin, and the button will light up red. The massage direction will automatically change every 60 seconds.
2. To turn off the heat function, press the On/Off button again. The button will light up blue.
3. To end the massage before the programmed 15 minutes and turn off the device, press and hold the On/Off button for approximately 5 seconds.

NOTE: The device will automatically turn off after 15 minutes.

4. Care, Maintenance, and Storage

WARNING:

The storage location should be chosen to prevent misuse by third parties or children.

1. Clean the device with a dry, soft cloth.
2. Store the device in the supplied carton in a dry environment.

Taurus® training equipment is subject to strict quality control. Should a fitness device purchased from us not function correctly, we regret this and ask you to contact our customer service. We are available by phone via the technical hotline.
