Product Function

Description of physical features and indicators.

Power Switch: Located on the device, marked [ON/OFF].

Type-C Charging Port: For charging the keyboard.

Charging Indicator and Caps Lock Indicator: Multiple indicators are present.

Keyboard Backlight Control:

• Pressing the first backlight key sets brightness to 30%.
• Pressing the second backlight key sets brightness to 60%.
• Pressing the third backlight key sets brightness to 100%.
• Pressing the backlight key again turns off the backlight.
• If the keyboard is inactive for 2 minutes, the backlight automatically turns off. Press any key to wake it up.
• If the keyboard is inactive for 30 minutes, it enters hibernation. Press any key to wake it up, and the backlight needs to be manually turned on again.

Bluetooth Connection

Instructions for connecting the keyboard via Bluetooth.

Mac OS Connection

1. Turn on the power switch [ON/OFF].
2. Press a Bluetooth channel button (1, 2, or 3) once. The white indicator light [⚪] flashes, and the keyboard enters Bluetooth mode.
3. Long press the chosen Bluetooth channel button for 3-5 seconds. The white indicator light [⚪] flashes quickly, and the keyboard enters Bluetooth pairing mode.
4. On your Mac, find and open "System Preferences".
5. Select "Bluetooth" from the System Preferences menu.
6. Search for and click to pair the "ProtoArc K100-A".

iOS System Connection

1. Turn on the power switch [ON/OFF].
2. Press a Bluetooth channel button (1, 2, or 3) once. The white indicator light [⚪] flashes, and the keyboard enters Bluetooth mode.
3. Long press the chosen Bluetooth channel button for 3-5 seconds. The white indicator light [⚪] flashes quickly, and the keyboard enters Bluetooth pairing mode.
4. On your iOS device (e.g., iPad), open "Settings" and turn on the Bluetooth function.
5. Search for and click to pair the "ProtoArc K100-A". A pairing request will appear.
6. Confirm the pairing request by clicking the "Pair" button. The device will show "ProtoArc K100-A Connected".

Keyboard Charging

Connect the keyboard to a power source using the included Type-C charging cable.

Charging Indicator: The indicator light turns from red [?] to green [?] when the keyboard is fully charged.

Low Battery Warning: If the battery power is very low, the indicator for the current Bluetooth channel will flash white quickly [⚪]. Backlight may not work, and typing may be delayed or slow. Charge the keyboard immediately.

Keyboard Mode Switch Method

After connecting to Bluetooth channels 1, 2, or 3, short press the respective Bluetooth channel button to switch between connected devices.

Multimedia Function Keys

Note: Direct access to multimedia functions for F1-F12 keys requires pressing the [FN Key] simultaneously.

Kind Note

1. If the keyboard is not connected properly: Turn off the power switch, restart the Bluetooth on your device, or remove the keyboard from the device's Bluetooth list and reconnect.
2. To switch between already connected devices: Press the channel button for the desired device. Wait 3 seconds for the connection to establish properly.
3. The keyboard has memory function. When reconnected to the same channel, it will use the default channel with its indicator light on.

Sleep Mode

1. When the keyboard is not used for over 30 minutes, it automatically enters sleep mode, and the indicator light turns off.
2. To wake the keyboard: Press any key. The keyboard will wake up within 3 seconds, and the indicator light will turn on again.
