Safety Precautions
Please read this manual carefully before operating your set and retain it for future reference.
General Safety Warnings
- Electric Shock Hazard: DO NOT OPEN. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel. The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle alerts users to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product's enclosure. The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle alerts users to important operating and maintenance instructions.
- Fire or Electric Shock Hazard: DO NOT expose this product to rain or moisture.
- Do not install this equipment in a confined space such as a book case or similar unit.
- Electrical Interference: Do not use high voltage products around this product (e.g., electrical swatter). This product may malfunction due to electrical shock.
- No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the apparatus.
- Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Slots and openings are provided for ventilation and to ensure reliable operation and protection from overheating. They should never be blocked by placing the product on a bed, sofa, rug, or similar surface.
- This product shall not be placed in a built-in installation such as a bookcase or rack unless proper ventilation is provided or manufacturer's instructions have been adhered to.
- The Power Plug is the disconnecting device. In case of an emergency, the Power Plug must remain readily accessible.
- The apparatus should not be exposed to water (dripping or splashing) and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, should be placed on the apparatus.
- For safety marking information including product identification and supply ratings, refer to the main label on the bottom or other surface of the product.
For Models Using an Adapter
- Only use the AC adapter supplied with this device. Do not use a power supply from another device or manufacturer. Using any other power cable or power supply may cause damage to the device and void your warranty.
For Models Using a Laser Device
- This product employs a Laser System. To ensure proper use, read this owner's manual carefully and retain it for future reference. Shall the unit require maintenance, contact an authorized service center.
- Use of controls, adjustments, or procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure. To prevent direct exposure to the laser beam, do not try to open the enclosure.

For Models Using a Battery
- This device is equipped with a portable battery or accumulator. CAUTION: Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
- How to Safely Remove Batteries: Follow assembly steps in reverse order. To prevent environmental contamination and potential threats to human/animal health, old batteries or battery packs must be put in an appropriate container at designated collection points. Do not dispose of batteries with other waste. Use local, free reimbursement systems for batteries/battery packs if available. Batteries should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine or fire.
For Models Using a Built-in Battery
- Do not store or transport at pressures lower than 11.6 kPa and at above 15,000 m altitude.
- Risks associated with incorrect battery replacement or disposal include:
- Replacement with an incorrect type that can defeat a safeguard (e.g., some lithium battery types).
- Disposal into fire or a hot oven, or mechanical crushing/cutting, which can result in an explosion.
- Leaving the battery in an extremely high temperature environment, which can result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
- A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure, which may result in an explosion or leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
Disposal of Your Old Appliance
- [Crossed-out wheeled bin symbol] indicates that waste electrical and electronic products (WEEE) should be disposed of separately from municipal waste.
- Old electrical products can contain hazardous substances. Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment and human health. Your old appliance may contain reusable parts and valuable materials for recycling.
- Take your appliance to the shop where purchased or contact your local government waste office for WEEE collection points. For up-to-date information, see www.lg.com/global/recycling.
Disposal of Waste Batteries/Accumulators
- [Crossed-out wheeled bin symbol] may be combined with chemical symbols for mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), or lead (Pb) if the battery contains more than specified limits.
- All batteries/accumulators should be disposed of separately via designated collection facilities.
- Correct disposal helps prevent negative consequences for the environment, animal, and human health.

Power and Wiring
POWER: This unit operates on a mains supply of 100-240 V ~ 50-60 Hz.
Wiring: This unit is supplied with a BS 1363 approved main plug.
- When replacing the fuse, always use a fuse of the same rating and approved to BS 1362.
- Never use this plug with the fuse cover omitted. Contact your dealer for a replacement fuse cover.
- If the plug is not suitable for your mains sockets, it should be removed and a suitable type fitted.
- Warning: A mains plug removed from the mains lead must be destroyed. A mains plug with bared wires is hazardous if inserted into a mains socket. Do not connect either wire to the earth pin (marked 'E' or with the earth symbol ⏼ or colored green/green-yellow).
- If any other plug is fitted, use the same rating of fuse in the plug.
Important Wire Color Codes:
- BLUE: NEUTRAL
- BROWN: LIVE
- Connect the blue wire to the terminal marked 'N' or colored black.
- Connect the brown wire to the terminal marked 'L' or colored red.
Warranty Information

LG Electronics U.K. Ltd. provides the following services:
- All faulty components due to defective manufacture will be replaced free of charge for 12 months from the original date of purchase.
- The dealer (or service agent) will be reimbursed for labor provided in the repair of LG equipment for 12 months from the original date of purchase, following published service charges and claims procedures.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The dealer may restrict the guarantee to the original purchaser.
- The dealer is not obliged to carry out service if unauthorized modifications are made, non-standard components are used, or the serial number is removed, defaced, misused, or altered.
- Claims must be directed to the dealer from whom the equipment was originally purchased. A receipted account may be required as proof of purchase.
- Dealers are not obligated to replace batteries that become exhausted or worn in use.
- Aerial alignment and consumer control adjustments are not covered by this guarantee.
This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.

Installation and Usage
Connecting Components:
- A: Sound bar
- B: Remote Control Receiver / Status Display
- C: Wireless Subwoofer - Install it close to the sound bar.
- D: External Device - (Blu-ray player, game console, etc.)
Connecting to TV:
- Connect the sound bar to your TV via an optical cable or an HDMI cable.
- If using an external device (e.g., Blu-ray player, game console), connect it to the sound bar via an HDMI cable.
- Connect to power in the following order: wireless subwoofer, then sound bar. Turn on the sound bar. When the connection is automatically established, the LED on the wireless subwoofer will light up green.
Using the Product with Your TV:
- Press the Function button repeatedly until "OPT/HDMI ARC" appears on the status display.
- On your TV's settings, set the output speaker to [HDMI ARC], [Optical], or [External Speaker].
- When the TV is properly connected, "OPT" or "ARC" appears on the status display with a sound.
Connecting to Your Smartphone via Bluetooth:
- Tap the Settings button on your smartphone and select Bluetooth. Turn on the Bluetooth function. (Off > On)
- Press the Bluetooth pair button. "BT READY" will appear on the status display.
- Find and tap the product on your smartphone. It appears as "LG SP7 (XX)".
- When connected, the status display changes from "PAIRED" → "Connected Bluetooth device name" → "BT".
Connecting to the LG Sound Bar App:
- Find and install the LG Sound Bar app on Google Play or App Store from your smartphone.
- Get more information by selecting [Help] in [Setting].
Troubleshooting Wireless Subwoofer Connection:
If you see a red LED on the back of the wireless subwoofer, it means the sound bar is not connected. Connect them as follows:
- Press the Power button on the sound bar to turn it off.
- Press the PAIRING button on the back of the disconnected wireless subwoofer. Check if the LED blinks green.
- If the red LED persists, press and hold the button on the back of the subwoofer again.
- Press the Power button on the sound bar to turn it on.
- When connected, a green LED will light on the back of the wireless subwoofer.
Important Notes:
- Keep the sound bar and subwoofer more than 1 meter away from devices like wireless routers or microwave ovens to prevent interference.
- Some speakers may not produce sound depending on the input source. Select CINEMA sound mode to listen through all speakers.

How to disconnect the wireless network connection or the wireless device
Set up the Auto Power function to off and turn off the product.
