Get Started
Follow these steps to begin using your ThinkPad laptop:
- Unpack the laptop and accessories.
- Connect the power adapter to the laptop and a power outlet.
- Press the power button to turn on the laptop.
- (Optional) Connect any peripherals as needed.

ThinkPad E14 Gen 7
Power Button/Fingerprint Reader: Press to log in to the computer. This button may also function as a fingerprint reader for secure login.
Navigation: The laptop can be navigated using the touchpad and keyboard, similar to a traditional mouse.
ThinkPad E16 Gen 3

Lenovo Commercial Vantage
Access Lenovo Commercial Vantage to adjust device settings and check for system updates. This application helps manage your laptop's performance and security.
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) Information
Your device meets international guidelines for exposure to radio waves. The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is a measure of the rate at which the body absorbs radiofrequency energy. The 10g SAR limit for body-worn devices is 2 W/kg, and for limb SAR it is 4 W/kg.
