- The appliance is provided with a special cord set with integrated Safety Extra Low Voltage power supply. Do not exchange or manipulate any part of it. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock.
- Only use the special cord set provided with your appliance.
- If the appliance is marked with '492', you can use it with any Braun power supply '492-XXXX'.
- Never use the appliance with any damaged accessory like trimmers, combs, or special cord set.
- Do not open the appliance!
- This appliance contains batteries that are non-replaceable.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.

Important
- Recommended ambient temperature for charging is 5 °C to 35 °C. The battery may not charge properly or at all under extreme low or high temperatures.
- Recommended ambient temperature for trimming is 15 °C to 35 °C.
- Do not expose the appliance to temperatures higher than 50 °C for extended periods of time.
- To keep the attachments working properly, oil the trimmer and the foils with a drop of light machine oil (not included) regularly.

How to Use
Attaching Heads and Combs:
- Select the desired trimmer head (1a, 1b, 1c, 1d) or comb (8, 9, 10, 11).
- Attach the selected head/comb to the appliance body. The diagrams show specific attachment methods for each type.
- Use the length selector (2) to choose the desired cutting length for trimmer heads and combs. The available ranges are indicated (e.g., 0.5-10 mm, 10.5-20 mm, 1-5 mm, 5-1 mm).
Trimming and Shaving:
- Turn the appliance on using the on/off button (3).
- Gently move the appliance over the area to be trimmed or shaved.
- For best results, trim in the direction of hair growth or against it, depending on the desired outcome and attachment used.
Charging:
- Connect the power supply (6) to the power socket (5) on the appliance or place it on the charging stand (7).
- The charging indicator (4) will show the charging status (red for low battery, green for charging/charged).
- A full charge typically takes a specified time (e.g., 1 hour, though not explicitly stated, implied by usage). A 5-minute quick charge is available for a single use.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Cleaning: Detach the appliance from the power supply before cleaning. Rinse the trimmer heads and combs under running water. Dry them thoroughly. The main body should be wiped with a damp cloth.
- Oiling: Regularly oil the trimmer blades and foils with a drop of light machine oil (not included) to ensure optimal performance and longevity. The diagrams show oil being applied to the blades.
