Never leave children unattended with packaging material and product. There is a risk of suffocation due to packaging material and a danger of death from strangulation. Children often underestimate dangers. Keep children away from the product at all times. The product is not a toy.

Make sure that all parts are installed in an undamaged state and correctly. Incorrect installation may result in injury. Damaged parts can affect safety and function.
Risk of crushing! When operating the retractable screen, make sure that neither you nor third parties are injured. The retractable screen opens automatically by means of a spring balancer. Do not let the retractable screen shoot up by itself.

Do not lean too far out of the window during assembly, disassembly or cleaning. Install only if windows are safely accessible from the outside.

Please follow the installation instructions minutely (referencing diagrams 1 – 22). Observe the safety instructions.

General Installation Steps:
- Preparation: Carefully unpack all parts and check for completeness and damage. Do not install if parts are missing or damaged.
- Measuring: Measure the window jamb dimensions (Width B, Height H).
- Profile Cutting: If necessary, cut profiles to size using a metal saw. Use a mitre box for precise cuts and wear work gloves.
- Assembly: Assemble the roller blind components according to the numbered diagrams, ensuring all parts are securely fastened. This typically involves attaching side profiles, the roller mechanism, and the mesh.
- Installation: Mount the assembled roller blind into the window jamb using screws. Ensure it is securely fixed.
6. Cleaning and Care
- Never use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Clean the fibreglass mesh and frame with a lint-free, slightly moistened cloth.
- Clean the retractable insect screen regularly.
- If necessary, use a mild detergent.

What can I do if parts are missing from the kit or defective?
If you find that a part listed in the scope of delivery is missing or defective, please inform us by sending the item number of your product and the purchase receipt via e-mail to office@smartmaxx.info or use our contact form. Within the warranty period, you will receive a replacement free of charge.
Where on the window is the product mounted?
The product is installed in the window jamb by means of screws.
How short can I cut the retractable screen?
The retractable screen can be shortened to a total width of 60 cm.
What is the best way to shorten profiles?
Preferably, use a metal saw to shorten profiles. Place the parts in a mitre box, fix them in place without crushing them, if necessary with a screw clamp, to achieve a precise, straight cut. As a safety precaution, we recommend wearing work gloves. Width (B) and height (H) are the dimensions of the window jamb (wall to wall distance).
Warranty and Legal Information
This warranty does not affect or exclude the rights that the buyer has under applicable consumer protection laws regarding the seller's statutory liability for non-conformity of goods with the contract, which lasts for 2 years from the date the goods were delivered to the buyer.
The warranty provider undertakes to provide customers with:
- Free repair of defects occurring during normal use or due to manufacturing and material errors within the warranty period.
- Replacement of the appliance within the warranty period if repair is not possible.
- Or, if repair is not possible, the buyer has the right to request a refund from the seller.
The total warranty period is 3 years. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase or receipt of the product, as evidenced by the fiscal receipt.
Warranty does not apply in the following cases:
- If the fiscal receipt with the date of sale is not provided with the appliance.
- If the defect is caused by lightning strike, power surge, or similar external force (fire, flood, voltage surge...).
- If defects and damage occurred after exposure to external influences such as high humidity, extreme temperatures (freezing, rubber damage, rust, etc.).
- If the product was not used in accordance with the instructions.
- If an unauthorized third party attempted to repair the product.
- If the product was not used for its intended purpose.
- If cleaning and maintenance were performed contrary to the instructions.
