Push productivity limits with four 4K displays at 60Hz on Windows laptops equipped with the latest 12th Gen Intel processors (or later) and DP 1.4 with DSC. Older systems still benefit from flexible two or three monitor configurations. Enjoy dual extended 4K displays on MacBook Air and Pro models equipped with M3 or M4 chips (clamshell mode required for M3), as well as on MacBook M1/M2 Pro or Max. For Apple computers with only the base M1/M2/M3 chip, a single display is supported. Supplied with a fully specified 180W AC adapter, the station can charge the laptop with 98W power delivery while retaining sufficient power for the downstream USB 2.0 port, which supports BC 1.2 with 7W (1.5A) for charging battery-powered tablets, smartphones, or other USB devices. Special Notes / Configuration

System and Cabling Configurations

This docking station can function with Thunderbolt 4, USB4, or USB-C host ports. For maximum performance, a Thunderbolt 4 or USB4 port is recommended.

DisplayPort video output ports do not support the use of passive DisplayPort adapters.

Remark

• This docking station uses MST (Multi-Stream Transport) technology to support four displays; macOS devices are limited to two external displays.
• Jumbo Frames are no longer supported in macOS.
