Operation Guides and Maintenance

Before the First Use

  1. Remove all packaging. Check if the ice basket and ice scoop are included. Contact customer service if not.
  2. Remove any tapes from the ice scoop, ice basket, and ice container. Clean the water tank and ice tank.
  3. Place the ice maker on a flat countertop, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ensure at least 4 inches (10 cm) of space around the unit.
  4. Allow the ice maker to stand for 2-6 hours before plugging it in to let the refrigerant settle.
  5. Place the ice maker on a level surface for easy plug access.
  6. Remove the ice basket.
  7. Clean the water tank with a mild detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
  8. Wash internal accessories with water, remove the drain plug, and drain water.
  9. Regularly clean the ice maker's surface with warm water and detergent.
  10. Dry the interior and exterior surfaces with a clean, soft cloth.
  11. If the ice maker will be idle for a long time, drain the water and keep it dry.

Using Your Ice Maker

  1. Open the lid, remove the ice basket, and pour water into the water tank. Ensure water is below the MAX water line. Replace the ice basket and close the lid.
  2. If cleaning is not required, proceed to the next step. To use the cleaning function, follow these instructions:
    • The unit enters standby mode (POWER light blinks green) when plugged in. Press and hold the ON/OFF/CLEAN button for 3 seconds to enter cleaning mode. The "L" and "S" lights will blink alternately. Cleaning takes about 30 minutes and the unit will automatically return to standby mode.
    • To stop cleaning early, press ON/OFF/CLEAN for 1 second.
  3. Press the ON/OFF/CLEAN button for 1 second. The "POWER" green light will turn on, and the machine will start making ice.
  4. Press "SELECT" to choose the ice size. If the indoor temperature is below 60°F (15°C), select SMALL size to prevent ice cubes from sticking together.
  5. The ice-making cycle takes 6-15 minutes per batch, depending on ice size and ambient temperature. Recommended operating temperatures: Indoor 59°F-90°F (15-32°C), Water 50°F-104°F (10-40°C).
  6. If the water pump is low on water, the ice maker will stop, and the "ADD WATER" indicator will light up. Press ON/OFF/CLEAN to turn off the unit. Add water up to the MAX line, then turn it back on. Allow refrigerant to rest for 3 minutes before restarting.
  7. When the ice basket is full, the "ICE FULL" indicator will light up. [WARNING] The infrared sensor may not work if exposed to direct sunlight or reflection; move the unit to a shaded area.
  8. Change the water in the tank every 24 hours for hygiene and to prevent blockages. If not in use, drain and wipe the unit dry.

Maintenance

Clean and maintain your ice maker regularly.

Tips: Before first use, let the ice maker stand for 2-6 hours before turning it on. Ice production may be slow in the first hour, then stabilize. Ensure 10 cm (4 inches) of clearance.

Troubleshooting

ProblemPotential ReasonsSolutions
The "ADD WATER" indicator light is on.Lack of water. Limescale and impurities blocked the water pump, and water cannot be pumped.Stop making ice. Add water up to the MAX line and reboot by pressing the Power button. Clean the water tank every 7-15 days and use filtered water. Cover the machine when not in use to prevent dust.
The "ICE FULL" indicator light is on.The ice basket is filled.Remove ice from the basket. Press and hold the "SELECT" button for 5 seconds to produce ice in 10 loops even if "ICE FULL" is on.
The ice cubes are adhered together. The ice-making procedure is too long. The water in the water tank is too freezing.Pause the ice maker and reboot until ice melts. Select the small ice size mode. Change the water in the tank. Water temperature should be controlled within 50°F-104°F (10°C-40°C).
The ice-making period is normal, but no ice is produced. The indoor temperature or water temperature is too high. The refrigerant of the cooling system leaks. The tubes of the cooling system are blocked.Indoor temperature should be controlled within 59°F-90°F (15-32°C). Water temperature should be controlled within 50°F-104°F (10°C-40°C). Ask a qualified technician to check for refrigerant leaks or blocked tubes.
