Product Introduction

Thank you for choosing the Rythflo Wireless Microphone. This manual guides you through the setup and usage of the RY-LM04, a dual-channel system capable of recording two sound sources simultaneously. The system comprises a phone receiver, a microphone/transmitter, and a camera receiver/charging case. This professional-grade audio solution is plug-and-play, requiring no additional apps. It is ideal for live streaming, VLOGS, interviews, and video teaching.

Product Diagrams

Microphone/Transmitter

A compact, rectangular device with rounded edges. It features a power button, indicator lights for pairing, noise reduction, and mute status, a volume adjustment button, and a mode button. A clip is attached for mounting.

Phone Receiver

A small, rectangular plug designed to insert directly into a smartphone's port. It has indicator lights for TX1 and TX2 pairing status, a charging port, and a microphone clip.

Camera Receiver/Charging Case

A slightly larger unit. It has a power button, indicator lights for pairing (TX1/TX2), noise reduction, reverb, mute, and charging status. It includes a hot shoe adapter for mounting on cameras, a charging/monitoring port, and a USB-C charging port. It also functions as a charging case for the microphones.

Operating Guide: Using with a Phone

  1. Insert the phone receiver into the phone.
  2. Remove the microphone from the charging case. (Note: No need to turn on the camera receiver/charging case.)
  3. The pairing lights on both the receiver and microphone will turn solid blue, indicating they are successfully paired.

Operating Guide: Using with a Camera

  1. Clip the microphone onto your clothing. Attach the camera receiver to the camera using the hot shoe adapter. Power on the receiver and switch to camera mode.
  2. Connect the receiver's Type-C port to the camera's microphone port using a Type-C to 3.5mm TRS cable.
  3. Set the camera's recording volume to the minimum to avoid white noise or sonic boom. The receiver and microphone lights will turn solid blue when paired.

FAQs

Question 1: Why can't I record properly after connecting to my phone?

Answer: 1. Check if the connection lights on both the microphone and receiver are solid blue. 2. Ensure the microphone has enough battery. Charge it if the battery is low. 3. Ensure that mute mode is off. 4. For some Xiaomi and Huawei phones, update the phone's software (Settings > About phone > System update). 5. For brands like VIVO, OPPO, Realme, OnePlus, iQOO, etc., enable "OTG" and external recording devices: Step 1: Enable "OTG": Settings > Other settings > OTG > On (or search "OTG" in Settings and enable it). Step 2: Enable external device: Go to Settings > Sounds & Vibration > More Sound Settings > Default Recording Device > External Device.

Question 2: Why is there noise in the recorded sound?

Answer: Check if the microphone's noise reduction mode is on (the second indicator light is solid blue). Press the Power button once to enable noise reduction. When using DSLR camera to record audio by wireless microphone, please set the camera recording volume to the minimum.

Question 3: Why can't the microphone record with the device's camera app?

Answer: Some phone systems restrict audio permissions for external microphones. Contact the phone's manufacturer for assistance. Try using other compatible apps, as this product works with most apps on the market.

Question 4: Why is the recorded audio volume low?

Answer: 1. Move the microphone closer to the sound source to avoid distortion. 2. Press the volume button on the phone receiver to increase the volume. 3. For brands like VIVO, OPPO, Realme, OnePlus, iQOO, etc., enable "OTG" and external recording devices (follow the instructions in the first FAQ).

Question 5: What should I do about wind noise?

Answer: Please attach the furry windshield to the microphone.

Question 6: What should I do if my phone's battery is low while recording?

Answer: Connect a charging cable to the receiver's charging port to charge the phone.

Question 7: What should I do about echo problem?

Answer: Check if the microphone's reverb mode is on (the third indicator light is solid blue). Double-click the power button to disable reverb. In live streaming, set the original sound in the sound adjustment settings of the karaoke interface.
