Buttons and Ports

RESET: Press for 5 seconds to reset the device.

WPS: Press for 1 second for WPS authorization.

WLAN (Wi-Fi) ON/OFF: Press for 2 seconds to turn Wi-Fi on/off.

ON/OFF: Power switch.

POWER: Power port.

PHONE: RJ11 phone port.

LAN 1~4: Ethernet ports.

Caution, laser: DO NOT look directly at the PON port when the device is powered on, as well as the terminal of the indoor fiber cord, to prevent any harm to your eyes.

Connection

Power Adapter: Connect the power adapter.

Optical Fiber: Connect the optical fiber cable.

Phone: Connect the phone line.

Step 1 & 2: Connect the power adapter and the optical fiber.

Step 3: Verify the Power LED and PON LED are solid on, and the LOS LED is off. This indicates your PON router is successfully registered.

Note: Please contact your ISP for help if your router fails to register or if you need to make VoIP-related configurations.

Connecting Your Device

A. Wi-Fi Method

Connect your device to the router's Wi-Fi using the SSID (network name) and Password printed on the bottom of the router. You will see a screen to connect to 'Cudy-****-5G'.

B. Wired Method

Turn off the Wi-Fi on your computer and connect it to the router's LAN port via an Ethernet cable.

Troubleshooting

Q1: Why I cannot access 192.168.1.1?

Try the following solutions:

1. Check the Power status of the PON router.
2. Ensure your devices are connected to the router via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable and that other connections (like 4G/5G cellular) are disabled.
3. Try a different web browser or device.
4. Press the RESET button for 5 seconds, wait for the LED to turn solid on, and reconfigure from Step 1.
5. Contact your ISP for assistance.

Q2: What if I cannot access the internet after configuration?

Try the following solutions:

1. Check the status of the LED indicators.
2. If the ONT is in router mode, ensure it has obtained a valid IP address and gateway on the Status > Device > WAN page.
3. If the ONT is in bridge mode, verify that the router used for dial-up is configured properly.
4. Contact your ISP for assistance.
