Propeller Installation
Proper installation of propellers is crucial for safe flight. The Mavic Air 2 comes with two types of propellers: those designed for clockwise rotation and those for counter-clockwise rotation. These are indicated by markings.
Identifying Propellers:
- Marked Propellers: These propellers have markings (e.g., a dot or line) on the propeller arm and the motor mount.
- Unmarked Propellers: These propellers do not have corresponding markings.
Installation Steps:
- Match the marked propellers with the marked motor mounts, and the unmarked propellers with the unmarked motor mounts.
- Press the propeller down onto the motor and rotate it in the indicated direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise) until it locks securely.

Remote Controller Setup:
- Unfold the mobile device holder.
- Extend the control sticks from their storage positions.
Battery Level Check and Power On/Off:
- To check the battery level, press the power button once.
- To turn the drone or remote controller on or off, press the power button once, then press and hold it for approximately 2 seconds.

Flight Modes and Controls
The DJI Mavic Air 2 can be controlled using different flight modes. Mode 2 is a common and intuitive mode.
Understanding Flight Controls (Mode 2):
- Left Stick: Pushes up to ascend, down to descend, left to yaw counter-clockwise, and right to yaw clockwise.
- Right Stick: Pushes up to move forward, down to move backward, left to move left, and right to move right.
Refer to the official DJI website for detailed information on all available flight modes and control configurations.
