Control Panel and Ports
Control Panel Layout
The control panel features a variety of buttons and selectors for operating the keyboard. The main controls are numbered 1 through 23:
- 1 POWER: Turns the keyboard on and off. Enters sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity.
- 2 Number Selection: 0-9 keys for selecting tones, rhythms, etc. Also includes (+) and (-) keys for sequential selection.
- 3 VOLUME+/-: Adjusts the main volume level (00-15).
- 4 TEMPO+/-: Adjusts the tempo speed.
- 5 TRANSPOSE+/-: Adjusts the key tonality (semitone by semitone).
- 6 RHYTHM VOL+/-: Adjusts the rhythm volume level (1-16).
- 7 DEMO: Plays demo songs, can loop or select next song.
- 8 SYNC: Enters synchronization mode for rhythm playback.
- 9 SINGLE: Enables single-finger chord accompaniment in rhythm/general mode.
- 10 FINGER: Enables multi-finger chord accompaniment in rhythm/general mode.
- 11 FILL-IN: Inserts a 1-4 beat interval into the current rhythm.
- 12 START/STOP: Starts or stops rhythm playback; exits other modes.
- 13 PROG: Enters programming mode for recording drum sounds.
- 14 RECORD: Enters recording mode to record notes or drum sounds.
- 15 PLAY: Plays recorded drum sounds (in PROG mode) or recorded notes (in RECORD mode).
- 16 KEY DRUM: Assigns percussion instrument tones to keys.
- 17 DUAL KEY: Activates dual keyboard function, splitting the keyboard into two sections with adjustable main tones.
- 18 Metronome: Activates the metronome with adjustable beat variations (1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4).
- 19 TONE: Selects different instrument tones.
- 20 RHYTHM: Selects different rhythm patterns.
- 21 LESSON: Accesses teaching modes (OKON and FOLLOW).
- 22 SUSTAIN: Activates or deactivates the sustain function for extended notes.
- 23 VIBRATO: Activates or deactivates the vibrato effect.
Ports
The keyboard features several input and output ports:
- Power: For connecting the power adapter.
- Audio output (earphone): For connecting headphones or external speakers.
- Microphone: For connecting a microphone.
- Audio input: For connecting external audio sources.
Operation Guide
Detailed instructions for each control:
- 1. POWER
- Turn on the power to play. The keyboard enters sleep mode after 2 minutes of inactivity and can be resumed by pressing any key.
- 2. Number Selection
- Use the 0-9 keys for selection. Hold (+) or (-) for continuous adjustment. Default is tone mode. If the selected number exceeds available options, the original value is kept.
- 3. VOLUME+/-
- Press to increase/decrease volume by one level. Hold to speed up. Pressing both simultaneously restores the default volume (level 13). Volume ranges from 00 to 15 (16 levels).
- 4. TEMPO+/-
- Use to speed up or slow down the tempo.
- 5. TRANSPOSE+/-
- Press to move up or down a semitone, adjusting tonality. Pressing both simultaneously restores the default tone "C".
- 6. RHYTHM VOL+/-
- Controls rhythm volume (1-16 levels). Default is 12. Holding both (+) and (-) restores the default value.
- 7. DEMO
- Press to play the next demo song, looping automatically. Pressing again selects the next song. The digital display enters demo song selection mode. Pressing a tone selection key temporarily switches to tone selection mode before returning to demo mode after 3 seconds.
- 8. SYNC
- Enter synchronization mode. Press SYNC before playing a rhythm, then press the first 19 keys to play the selected rhythm. While rhythm is playing, press SYNC to enter synchronous mode and stop playback.
- 9. SINGLE
- Works in rhythm and general mode. Press SINGLE and then keys C2~F3# for single-finger chord accompaniment.
- 10. FINGER
- Works in rhythm and general mode. Press FINGER, then keys C2~F3#, and play multi-fingered for chord accompaniment. Not pressing multi-fingered will not play chord rhythm.
- 11. FILL-IN
- Inserts a 1-4 beat interval into the current rhythm.
- 12. START/STOP
- Starts rhythm directly. In other modes (teaching, recording, etc.), it exits the current mode.
- 13. PROG (Programming)
- Enter programming mode with a default speed of 120. Records drum sounds; other notes will play but not record. Max record number is 32. Press PLAY to hear recorded drum sounds. Each press erases last memory and re-enters programming mode. Last memory is erased upon exiting programming mode. Keys function as keyboard drums.
- 14. RECORD
- Enter recording mode. Press any key or drum key to start recording. Max recordings: 85. Press PLAY anytime during recording to play back. Each press erases last memory and re-enters recording mode. Last memory is erased upon exiting recording mode.
- 15. PLAY
- In PROG mode: Plays recorded drum sound and repeats. In RECORD mode: Plays recorded notes with the selected tone. No action if no value was previously recorded.
- 16. KEY DRUM
- Assigns percussion instrument tones to corresponding keys.
- 17. DUAL KEY
- Turns dual keyboard function on/off. When on, C3~B4 plays as C4~B5, and C5~C8 plays as C4~C7. Use Number Selection to change the main tone for C4~C7 keys.
- 18. Metronome
- Cycles through beat variations: 1/4, 2/4, 3/4, 4/4, stop. Default metronome value is 120.
- 19. TONE
- Select instrument tones using Number Selection (0-9 keys or +/-).
- 20. RHYTHM
- Select rhythm patterns using Number Selection (0-9 keys or +/-).
- 21. LESSON

- OKON: One-key teaching mode. Keyboard plays demo songs; user presses any key to play the melody. Background sound repeats a stanza if the melody doesn't progress. Can continue teaching the same song.
- FOLLOW: Follow-play teaching mode. Keyboard plays demo songs; user must press corresponding keys shown on the digital tube to continue. Background sound repeats a stanza. Can continue teaching the same song.
- 22. SUSTAIN
- Turns the sustain function on/off, providing an extension effect to notes.
- 23. VIBRATO
- Turns the vibrato function on/off, adding a vibrato effect to notes.

Safety and Maintenance
Battery Handling
WARNING:
- Do not attempt to disassemble or short-circuit the battery.
- Do not expose or burn the battery in fire.
- Do not mix new and old batteries or different types of batteries.
- Do not charge the battery.
- Ensure positive (+) and negative (-) poles are correctly installed.
- Remove batteries if the keyboard will not be used for a long time.
Exception Handling
WARNING: In case of exceptions like fuming or overheating:
- Power off the keyboard.
- Unplug the adaptor from the power socket.
- Contact your local dealer.
Note: It is normal for the AC adaptor to get hot during prolonged use; this does not indicate a malfunction. Power off and restart the keyboard if experiencing functional problems.
Battery Installation
- Remove the battery cover by unscrewing it.
- Insert 4 "AA" 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct positive (+) and negative (-) orientation.
- Replace and secure the battery cover.
General Care
This product contains electronic components and should not be exposed to liquids or used in damp environments.
For daily cleaning, dust-proof maintenance is recommended. Surface stains can be wiped with a soft, clean cloth.
