Control Panel

The control panel features the following buttons and indicators:

First Time Use

Filling the Salt Reservoir

Using salt prevents limescale formation on dishes and machine components. The salt reservoir must never be empty. It is important to set the water hardness.

The salt reservoir is located in the lower part of the dishwasher and must be filled when the [Salt refill indicator light] is lit.

  1. Remove the lower rack and unscrew the reservoir cap (anticlockwise).
  2. Position the funnel and fill the salt reservoir to the brim (approx. 1 kg). Some water leakage is normal.
  3. Only for the first use: fill the salt reservoir with water.
  4. Remove the funnel and wipe away any salt residue. Ensure the cap is tightly screwed to prevent detergent from entering the container, which could damage the water softener.

If you need to add salt, complete this procedure before starting a wash cycle to avoid corrosion.

Filling the Rinse Aid Dispenser

Rinse aid aids in dish drying. The rinse aid dispenser (A) should be filled when the [Rinse Aid refill indicator light] is lit.

NEVER pour rinse aid directly into the appliance tub.

Filling the Detergent Dispenser

To open the detergent dispenser, use the opening device (C). Introduce detergent into the dry dispenser (D) only. Place pre-wash detergent directly into the tub.

Using detergents not designed for dishwashers may cause malfunction or damage.

Water Softening System

The water softener automatically reduces water hardness, preventing scale buildup and improving cleaning efficiency. It regenerates using salt, requiring refills when empty.

Regeneration frequency depends on water hardness setting. With level 3, regeneration occurs once per 5 Eco cycles. The process starts in the final rinse and finishes during drying.

  • Single regeneration consumes: ~3.5L of water.
  • Adds up to 5 minutes to the cycle.
  • Consumes below 0.005kWh of energy.

Programs Table

Program Programs description Drying phase Duration ⏰ (h:min)* Water consumption ? (litres/cycle) Energy consumption ⚡ (kWh/cycle)
1. ECO 50° Eco program is suitable for normally soiled tableware. It is the most efficient program in terms of combined energy and water consumption and is used for EU Ecodesign legislation compliance. ✔️ 4:00 11.5 0.78
2. Intensive 65° Recommended for heavily soiled crockery, especially pans and saucepans (not for delicate items). ✔️ 2:30 15.0 1.50
3. Mixed 55° Mixed soil. For normally soiled dishes with dried food residues. ✔️ 2:25 15.0 1.35
4. Rapid 40' 50° For half loads of lightly-soiled dishes with no dried food residues. Does not have a drying phase. 0:40 8.0 0.90
5. Pre-Wash Use to refresh crockery planned for later washing. No detergent needed. 0:10 4.0 0.01

ECO program data is measured under laboratory conditions according to European Standard EN 60436:2020.

Note for Test Laboratories: For information on comparative EN testing conditions, please send an email to: dw_test_support@europeanappliances.com.

Pre-treatment of dishes is not needed before any program.

*) Values for programs other than Eco are indicative. Actual time may vary based on water temperature/pressure, room temperature, detergent amount, load quantity/type, load balancing, selected options, and sensor calibration. Sensor calibration can increase program duration by up to 20 min.

Loading the Racks

Capacity: 9 standard place-settings.

Upper Rack

Load delicate and light dishes: glasses, cups, saucers, low salad bowls.

(Diagram showing upper rack loading example)

Lower Rack

For pots, lids, plates, salad bowls, cutlery etc. Large plates and lids should ideally be placed at the sides to avoid interference with the spray arm.

Foldable Flaps with Adjustable Position

These flaps can be adjusted for better loading of dishes.

Cutlery Basket

The basket is equipped with top grilles for improved cutlery arrangement. Position the cutlery basket at the front of the lower rack.

Knives and utensils with sharp edges must be placed in the cutlery basket with points facing downwards or positioned horizontally in the tip-up compartments on the upper rack.

Sliding Tray

The upper rack has a sliding tray for small crockery and cutlery. To optimize washing performance, avoid positioning bulky crockery directly below the tray. The tray is removable.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Cleaning the Filter Assembly

In case of foreign objects (e.g., broken glass, porcelain, bones, fruit seeds), remove them carefully.

NEVER REMOVE the wash-cycle pump protection (black detail).

Cleaning the Spray Arms

To remove the upper spray arm, turn the plastic locking ring clockwise.

The lower spray arm may be removed by pulling it upwards.

Troubleshooting

If your dishwasher is not working properly, check the following list. For other errors or issues, please contact authorized After-Sales Service (details in warranty booklet). Spare parts are available for 7 or 10 years, depending on regulations.

Problem Possible Causes Solutions
The dishwasher does not fill with water. No water in the water supply or the tap is closed. Make sure there is water in the supply and the tap is running.
All LEDs are blinking rapidly. The inlet hose is bent. Ensure the inlet hose is not bent (see INSTALLATION). Reprogram and reboot the dishwasher.
The sieve in the water inlet hose is clogged; it needs cleaning. After verification and cleaning, turn off and on the dishwasher and restart a new program.
Dishwasher finishes the cycle prematurely. Drain hose positioned too low or siphoning into home sewage system. Check if the drain hose end is at the correct height (see INSTALLATION). Check for siphoning into the home sewage system; install an air admittance valve if necessary.
Detergent leaks. Air in water supply. Check water supply for leaks or other issues allowing air inside.
Depends on the liquid detergent used and can be emphasized if the delay option is activated. Small leaks will not cause machine malfunction and can be avoided by changing the liquid detergent type or using tablets.
