Instructions for Use

To switch on the brush dryer, turn the temperature control knob anticlockwise to the desired setting.

Important Note

This brush uses hot air steam to dry the hair. Unlike other hair dryers, it uses less power. The top of the brush is likely to get hot. This is due to the operation of the unit. Take the necessary precautions when handling the brush, especially if you bring it too close to your head. The brush has four (4) positions: off, low, medium and high.

Useful Styling Tips for the Volumising and Blow-drying Brush

  1. Dry your hair with a towel to remove excess water.
  2. Plug the unit into the wall socket and set the selector switch to the desired position. Use the LOW setting to dry fine hair and the HIGH setting for thick hair. Use the lowest temperature setting to fix the hairstyle.
  3. For best results, separate hair into strands and dry them one at a time.
  4. Place the all-in-one blow-drying brush near the roots and glide it towards the ends. The soft bristles will help to detangle and straighten hair even in hard to reach areas at the back of the head.
  5. Repeat with the rest of the strands until all hair is dry for a smooth, silky and luxurious style.
  6. Switch off the unit once the hair has dried and the desired style has been achieved. Allow the brush to cool completely before storing.

Maintenance Instructions for the User

This device has a thermostat that will close the electrical circuit if the temperature exceeds the comfort level due to partial obstruction of the air inlet or outlet. In the event that the unit slows down while in use, turn it off and allow it to cool down. The thermostat will automatically reset.

Maintenance

The brush is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is required. Keep all ducts and openings clean and free of dust, dirt and hairspray. In case the cable becomes twisted, untwist it before using the brush.

Cleaning Instructions

If it is necessary to clean the brush, unplug the power cord and wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Dust and lint can be removed from the air intake with a small brush.

WARNING: In case of failure, do not attempt to repair. This brush contains no user serviceable parts.

Storage

When not using the brush, always unplug the power cord from the wall socket. Wait for the brush to cool down and place it in a dry place out of the reach of children. Never wind the cord around the brush as it may be damaged prematurely or even cut. To ensure a long service life, the cord should be handled with care, avoiding pulling and kinking, especially when unplugging it.

Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical devices, especially when they are within the reach of children, basic safety precautions must be observed:

  1. Never leave the device unattended while it is plugged in. When the device is not in use, turn it off and unplug the power cord.
  2. Use of the device by or near children or individuals with special abilities should be supervised.
  3. Use this device only for its intended use as described in this manual. AVOID the use of accessories not recommended for use by the manufacturer.
  4. Keep cord and device away from hot surfaces. DO NOT crimp, bend or twist the cable around the device.
  5. Never block the air inlet or outlet openings of the device, or place the device on a soft surface, such as a bed or sofa, where the air flow openings may be blocked. Keep the airflow openings free of lint, hair and similar materials.
  6. Do not leave it on while sleeping.
  7. Never drop or insert any object into an opening.
  8. DO NOT use outdoors or in places where aerosols are used or where oxygen is administered.
  9. DO NOT use an extension cord for this device.
  10. DO NOT direct hot air into the eyes or other heat sensitive area.
  11. Accessories (if provided) may become hot when using the device. Allow them to cool before handling.
  12. DO NOT rest the device on any surface when in operation.
  13. When using the device, keep hair out of the air inlet openings.
  14. DO NOT use this device with a voltage transformer.

Caution!

NEVER coil the power cord around the device. The cord may be cut and cause a short circuit or other fault if it is pulled, twisted, kinked or bent excessively, especially at the point of entry to the device. Check the cable regularly. DO NOT use the device if the cable is kinked, bent or otherwise damaged, or if the device is receiving irregular power. If the cable is damaged or inconvenienced due to irregular power, see the WARNING instructions below.

Storage

Before storing the device, it must be unplugged and allowed to cool down. DO NOT apply pressure or tension on the cable entry point to the unit. When the device is not in use, the cable should remain loose, without kinks. The device should be stored in a safe, dry place out of the reach of children. For more information, see the STORAGE section of the operating instructions.

READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THE DEVICE.
