Insurance Intermediary: IN CONFIDENCE INSURANCE, a SAS registered with the Nanterre RCS under number 798 338 182 and with Orias under number 14 000 507 (www.orias.fr), an authorized representative of ONEY INSURANCE, regulated by the French Insurance Code, and EVY Brokerage, a simplified joint-stock company (SASU) with a capital of 1,000 euros, registered with the Paris Trade and Companies Register under number SIREN 918 000 852 and with Orias under number 22006093. Its registered office is located at 38, rue des Mathurins - 75008 Paris.

What type of insurance is this?
The << Fitness Equipment Extended Warranty 2-Year Breakdown Cover >> is an optional adhesion insurance, allowing the policyholder to benefit from the repair or replacement of their Fitness equipment belonging to the Decathlon group, purchased new in-store or sold by Decathlon on the website www.decathlon.fr, in case of a Breakdown.
What is covered?
- Treadmills, exercise bikes, elliptical bikes, rowers, abdominal machines, weight machines, weight benches, exclusively new Fitness equipment from the Decathlon group, purchased at a Decathlon store (physical store or sold by Decathlon via the website www.decathlon.fr, www.decathlon.mq, www.decathlon.re, or www.decathlon.gp), and whose references are listed on the cash receipt, or on the confirmation email for remote adhesion, showing the adhesion to the Contract.

Warranty Limits:
Coverage is limited to the Purchase Value of the insured item during the warranty period.
The policyholder can therefore be compensated up to the Purchase Value of the insured item without any claim limit.
The total compensation received by the policyholder cannot exceed the Purchase Value of the insured item.
Guarantees preceded by a checkmark ☑ are systematically included in the contract.
What is not covered?
- Items not corresponding to any product category listed previously.
Are there any exclusions to the coverage? ❗
- Any fitness equipment not belonging to the Decathlon group.
- Any equipment not listed in the guaranteed items.
- Outdoor use and/or storage in a humid environment (room with little or no heating).
- Damage resulting from failure to follow the instructions in the manual of the guaranteed equipment.
- Any service or repair carried out by the insured person themselves, outside of manipulations requested by a Domyos technician or by personnel not authorized by Decathlon.
- Damage resulting from any external event such as falls, shocks, anomalies, electrical damage, water damage, lightning, oxidation, theft, or fire.
- Damage due to the use of non-compliant or unsuitable accessories for the guaranteed equipment (e.g., an incompatible electrical transformer).
- Poor maintenance of the guaranteed equipment or maintenance that does not comply with the instructions in the equipment manual (e.g., lack of treadmill belt lubrication).
- Accessories and consumables (batteries, cords, remote controls, etc.) supplied with the equipment or requiring replacement (batteries, ...).
- Equipment used for professional purposes.
- Intentional degradation of the guaranteed equipment or manifest negligence by the insured.
- Any damage resulting from intentional or fraudulent acts by the insured.
- Insured persons listed on any official, governmental, or police database of proven or presumed terrorists, insured persons who are members of a terrorist organization, drug traffickers, or involved as suppliers in the illegal trade of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons.
- Cyber Exclusion: Loss of, loss of use of, damage to, corruption of, inability to access, or inability to manipulate any computer system or electronic data within the guaranteed equipment as a result of unauthorized access or use of such system or data, a denial-of-service attack, or the reception or transmission of malicious code. A computer system means any electronic hardware or software, or its components, used to store, process, access, transmit, or receive information. Electronic data means any data stored on a computer system.
Where am I covered? ❓
Guarantees are effective for claims occurring worldwide. However, compensation for the insured item can only be processed in metropolitan France (including Corsica), Reunion Island, Martinique, Mayotte, or French Guiana.
What are my obligations?
Under penalty of nullity of the insurance contract adhesion or non-coverage:
Upon contract adhesion:
- Answer insurer's questions accurately.
- Provide all supporting documents requested by the insurer.
- Pay the premium indicated in the contract.
During the contract:
- Inform Evy by email of any change in situation.
In case of a claim:
- Declare the claim to Domyos Customer Service within the time limits on the website www.decathloninsurance.com or by email to decathlon@evy.eu.
- Provide all supporting documents necessary for claim processing.
- Do not repair the item yourself, nor appoint a repairer of your choice.
When and how to make payments? €
The policyholder must pay the premium in full. The amount is shown on the Adhesion Certificate. The premium is paid from the effective date of the adhesion period, as indicated on the Adhesion Certificate. Payment is made using the method chosen by the policyholder during contract adhesion from those offered by Decathlon.
When does coverage begin and end?
The duration of the Guarantees is shown on the Adhesion Certificate; it is a firm period of 2 years. The duration of the Guarantees cannot be renewed.
The guarantee comes into effect at the end of the legal conformity guarantee for Policyholders acting as consumers, i.e., at the end of a twenty-four (24) month period from the date the Policyholder takes possession of the Insured Item.
The effective date of the Guarantees corresponds to the adhesion date mentioned on the Adhesion Certificate.
How can I terminate the contract?
In case of an indemnified Claim: termination takes effect on the date of claim indemnification once the Insured has been compensated up to the Purchase Value of the Insured Item.
In case of total loss or destruction of the Insured Item due to an event not giving rise to the application of the Guarantees: termination takes effect on the date of occurrence of that event.
In case of reimbursement of the Insured Item by Decathlon: In this case, the Policyholder must inform Evy to obtain a refund pro rata temporis of the premium paid.
If the Policyholder decides to exercise their right to terminate their contract under Article L.113-12 of the Insurance Code: The Policyholder may terminate the contract upon expiry of a one-year period, by sending a registered letter or an electronic registered mail to the Insurer at least two months before the contract's expiry date.
In all other cases provided for by the Insurance Code.
