Overview
The HyperX CloudX Stinger Core is a wireless headset designed for gaming, particularly for Xbox consoles. This guide provides a quick start for its setup and use.
Key Components:
- A - Swivel-to-mute microphone: Flip the microphone up to automatically mute it.
- B - Status LED: Indicates charging status and connection status.
- C - Power button: Used for powering the headset on/off and toggling mic monitoring.
- D - Volume wheel: Adjusts the overall audio volume.
- E - USB charge port: Connect the USB cable here for charging.
- F - Pairing button: Used to pair the headset with the console.
- G - Game/Chat balance wheel: Adjusts the mix between game audio and chat audio.
- H - USB charge cable: Used to charge the headset.
Charging:
It is recommended to fully charge the headset before first use.
- Solid white LED: Fully charged.
- Breathing white LED: 15%-99% battery.
- Breathing red LED: < 15% battery.
Power Button Functions:
- Power on/off: Hold the power button for 3 seconds.
- Mic monitoring: Short press the power button to toggle mic monitoring on/off.
Setup for Xbox Console Usage
- Power on the Xbox console and press the connect button. The Xbox logo will start blinking.
- Power on the headset. Press and hold the pairing button for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. The headset status LED will start blinking green.
- The headset will connect to the Xbox Console.
Audio Controls
- Volume Wheel: Scroll up or down to adjust the volume level.
- Game/Chat Balance Wheel: Scroll up or down to adjust the mix between game audio and chat audio. This function operates independently from the overall headset audio volume.
Warning: Permanent hearing damage can occur if a headset is used at high volumes for extended periods of time.
Battery and TX Power Information
- Battery Information: Contains a 3.7V, 1000mAh Li-ion Battery, 3.7Wh. The battery cannot be replaced by the user.
- Frequency & TX Power Information: Frequency Bands: 2.4GHz/5GHz (TX Power: < 8dBm).
