Controller Diagram
The controller features:
- Photoreceptor hole
- Master icon
- Wave mode icon
- Slave icon
- Lock icon
- M/S / Feed button
- Power/Night mode button
- Buttons for adjusting settings under any mode
- Buttons for MODE and FREQUENCY
Controller Operations:
- Master/Slave Mode:
- Briefly press the M/S FEED button: 'M' indicator lights up (Master mode). All settings for multiple pumps running synchronously are made here.
- Press the M/S FEED button twice: 'S' indicator lights up (Slave mode). This controller can only set the flow rate; other buttons have no function.
- Feeding Mode: Press and hold the M/S FEED button until 'Fd10' is displayed. The pump stops for 10 minutes for feeding and then resumes operation. To cancel, press and hold the button again. In Slave mode, the controller can only display FEED, not Fd10.
- Power/Night Mode:
- Press the NIGHT button to switch the pump on/off.
- Press and hold the NIGHT button for 3 seconds to switch to night mode. If the photoreceptor detects darkness, the pump switches to the lowest gear of constant mode. If it detects brightness, it switches to the last used wave-making mode.
- Adjusting Flow Rate: Press the ▲ and ▼ buttons to adjust the flow rate for wave modes.
- Button Lock: Press and hold the ▲ and ▼ buttons until the lock icon appears to activate button lock. Press and hold them again until the lock icon disappears to cancel.
- Mode and Frequency: Press the MODE FREQ button to switch between the five modes (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5) and set the frequency.
Wave Modes:
- M1: Classic wave pulse mode: Operate one or several pumps simultaneously. Use ▲ and ▼ to increase/decrease flow rate from F30 to 100. Press and hold MODE FREQ to set frequency.
- M2: Sine wave mode: Operate one or several pumps simultaneously. Use ▲ and ▼ to increase/decrease flow rate from F30 to 100. The pump's flow rate varies like a sine curve. Press and hold MODE FREQ to set frequency.
- M3: Constant wave mode: Operate one or several pumps simultaneously. Use ▲ and ▼ to increase/decrease flow rate from F30 to 100. The pump's power remains constant.
- M4: Random wave mode: Operate one or several pumps simultaneously. The pump's power varies randomly.
- M5: Classic wave cross-flow mode: Operate one or several pumps simultaneously. Use ▲ and ▼ to increase/decrease flow rate from F30 to 100. Press and hold MODE FREQ to set frequency.
Maintaining
- Clean the pump regularly for optimal working order.
- If the controller gets wet, wipe it immediately with a dry cloth.
- Remove deposits by turning the pump basket counterclockwise to open and clockwise to lock.
- Use a soft cloth to clean the blades and remove dirt deposits.
- This device is designed for indoor aquariums only. Ensure the controller and adapter do not get into the water.
Trouble Shooting
Error code | Fault | Solution |
---|---|---|
Er01 | The controller is over current | Abnormal operating current; check for short circuits or controller damage. |
Er02 | The controller is over temperature | Ensure the controller is not exposed to sunlight or high temperatures. |
Er04 | The pump is blocked | The impeller is malfunctioning. Clean the pump and impeller and verify they are clean and in good working order. |
Er05 | Controller is over voltage / Controller is under voltage | Check the input power supply voltage. |
