Introduction
Dear Customer,
Schneider Electric SE and its subsidiaries (Schneider Electric) have, since 2008, strictly adhered to REACH Regulation No. 1907/2006, covering the declaration of Substances of Very High Concern (hereinafter referred to as SVHC), Authorization (Annex XIV), and Restriction (Annex XVII).
In accordance with the obligations mentioned in Article 33 of the said regulation, you will find attached the most up-to-date information, to our knowledge, regarding the presence of SVHC in Schneider Electric products.
We will evolve this information based on the improvement of our knowledge resulting from information provided by our suppliers and our own investigations.
Furthermore, Schneider Electric has taken into consideration the decision of the European Court of Justice of September 10, 2015 (C-106/14) and is working to implement it as quickly as possible.
In line with its environmental strategy, Schneider Electric and its subsidiaries have decided to apply REACH regulation globally.
As part of the Group's environmental policy, we continuously strive to create products and solutions that pose no risk to human health and the environment when used under conditions compliant with their intended use, as per their documentation provided by Schneider Electric.
With this objective in mind, Schneider Electric's aim is to substitute SVHC substances as soon as possible, prioritizing those subject to authorization (Annex XIV) before their 'sunset date'.
When disposing of products, we recommend using appropriate disposal channels for the products in question. If the product below falls within the scope of RoHS legislation, we draw your attention to the fact that this document is not a CE declaration. To obtain the CE declaration, please contact the Customer Contact Center.
Sincerely,
