Product Overview
This manual provides instructions for the MCHOSE AX5 Gaming Mouse, detailing its various connection modes, operational features, and maintenance. The mouse is designed for gaming and offers versatile connectivity options.
Connectivity Options
Wired Connection
Connect the included Type-C USB cable to the mouse and then to your computer. The mouse will automatically switch to wired mode and begin charging.
2.4GHz Wireless Connection
- Switch the toggle on the mouse to the [2.4G] position.
- Open the mouse cover, remove the USB receiver, and plug it into your computer's USB port.
- The mouse is ready for use.
Manual Pairing (2.4GHz): If manual pairing is required, download the driver from the MCHOSE website (www.maicong.cn). Switch the toggle to [2.4G], plug in the USB receiver, and follow the pairing instructions within the driver software.
Bluetooth Wireless Connection
- Switch the toggle on the mouse to the [Wireless] position.
- Press and hold the left, center, and right mouse buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue rapidly.
- On your device, search for the pairing name [MCHOSE AX5 5.0] and connect. The blue light will turn off upon successful connection.
Note: Pairing will time out after 3 minutes, and the blue light will turn off.
*When a USB cable is connected, the mouse defaults to wired mode and charging, regardless of the toggle switch position.
Power Saving Mode
The mouse enters a first-level sleep mode after 5 seconds of inactivity and a second-level sleep mode after 20 seconds. Press any button to wake the mouse. When the computer enters sleep mode, the mouse also enters deep sleep; wake the mouse first, then the computer.
Indicator Light Status
The indicator light provides feedback on the mouse's status:
- Startup: Lights up for 5 seconds, then turns off.
- 2.4GHz Mode: Indicator stays GREEN for 5 seconds, then turns off.
- Wireless Mode: Indicator stays BLUE for 5 seconds, then turns off.
- DPI Switching: The indicator for the selected DPI gear lights up for 5 seconds, then turns off.
The indicator light can be customized via the mouse driver for single color constant on, breathing effect, or turned off.
DPI Settings
DPI Gears: 400/800/1600/3200/6400/26000 (Default: 1600).
DPI Switching: Click the [DPI switch button] at the bottom of the mouse to cycle through the six DPI gears.
DPI Gear Save: The current DPI gear is automatically saved after approximately 15 seconds of switching.
Indicator Light for DPI:
- 1st Gear: Red
- 2nd Gear: Blue
- 3rd Gear: Green
- 4th Gear: Yellow
- 5th Gear: Green
- 6th Gear: Purple
Charging
When the indicator light flashes red, the mouse needs charging.
Connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB cable. The indicator light will flash orange during charging and turn off when fully charged.
Charging Instructions:
- Use only computer USB ports for charging.
- Do not use fast-charging mobile phone chargers.
- Avoid inferior or non-standard power adapters.
- Do not use adapters with overvoltage or overcurrent.
- Keep away from high-temperature equipment while charging.
- Turn off the power switch when not in use for extended periods.
These charging instructions also apply to other rechargeable MCHOSE devices.
