First Time Pairing: BLUETOOTH Connection

1. Auto-Connect Earbuds:

Press and hold both buttons for at least 3 seconds to power on. The white lights will flash to indicate the earbuds are automatically connecting to each other. The right earbud will flash blue and white, signaling it's ready for pairing with your device. The left earbud will show a solid white light.

2. Connecting to BLUETOOTH:

In your device's Bluetooth settings ⚙️, select 'JLab JBuds Air'. You will hear a voice prompt "Bluetooth connected", followed by solid white lights on the earbuds, indicating they are ready for use.

3. Adding NEW / ADDITIONAL BLUETOOTH devices:

With the earbuds off, press and hold the right earbud button for 10 seconds. The earbud will flash blue and white, indicating it's ready to pair with a Bluetooth device. After connecting, power on the left earbud to connect both earbuds.

Right Earbud:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold for at least 5 seconds ▶️ / ⏹️
• Volume Up: Single tap ?
• Answer Call: Single tap ?
• Reject Incoming Call: Press and hold for at least 1 second ??
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double tap ?️

Left Earbud:

• Power On/Off: Press and hold for at least 5 seconds ▶️ / ⏹️
• Volume Down: Single tap ?
• Play/Pause: Double tap ▶️ / ⏸️
• Previous Track: Press and hold for at least 1 second ⏮️
• Activate Voice Assistant (Siri/Google Assistant): Double tap ?️

Equalizer (EQ) Modes

Tap the left or right earbud 3 times to cycle through 3 EQ settings:

• JLab Signature: Balanced sound with JLab C3™ enhancements, featuring clear highs and boosted bass.
• Balanced: Even sound levels without extra enhancements.
• Bass Boost: Enhanced bass and sub-bass for a powerful sound.

Charging the Earbuds

Ensure the right and left earbuds are correctly placed in the charging case (marked L and R) for proper charging and connection.

Placing the earbuds in the case will automatically turn them off and begin charging. A solid blue light on the earbuds indicates they are charging and will turn off when fully charged. The charging case will display flashing blue lights during charging.

Charging Case: Connect your JBuds Air to a computer or USB 5V power adapter ?. The case lights will flash white during charging and show a solid white light when fully charged.

Fit and Comfort

Choose the correct ear tip size and Cush Fin adapter for an optimal fit. Insert the earbud vertically into your ear canal, then rotate it to lock it securely in place.

Troubleshooting

Issue: Music only plays from the right earbud, not the left?

If the right earbud works but the left does not, follow these steps to re-pair the earbuds:

1. Turn off Bluetooth ? on your device. Turn off both earbuds by pressing and holding their buttons until you hear "Good bye" or the lights turn off.
2. With the earbuds off, press and hold the right earbud button for 15 seconds. The earbud will flash blue and white. Release when the earbud flashes blue.
3. Repeat the process for the left earbud: press and hold its button for 15 seconds. Release when the earbud shows a solid white light.
4. Turn Bluetooth ? back on your device. Select 'JLab JBuds Air' to connect. The right earbud will flash blue and white, and the left earbud will show a solid white light.

Note: To avoid needing to disconnect and reconnect, ensure you return the earbuds to the correct position in the charging case. Refer to the "Charging the Earbuds" section.

In-Call Echo:

If you experience echo from the microphone with your JBuds Air, ensure the Cush Fin adapters are not blocking the microphone port.

Quick Tips & Care

Quick Tips:

• The Bluetooth ? connection originates from the right earbud. For the most stable connection, keep your device on your right side.
• During calls, only the right earbud will receive audio from your mobile phone. The left earbud will be silent and will resume audio after the call ends.
• If you prefer to use only one earbud, you must use the right earbud.

Care & Warnings:

• Dry the earbuds thoroughly before placing them in the charging case.
• The earbuds are water and sweat resistant ??, but the charging case is not.
• Avoid extreme heat, cold, and humidity.
• Avoid dropping or crushing the earbuds.
• Earwax buildup may occur on the ear tips, potentially reducing sound quality. Gently clean earwax with a dry cotton swab or small brush to improve sound quality.
• If you experience discomfort or blockage, try reducing the volume or temporarily discontinue use.
• If discomfort persists, stop using the product and consult a doctor.
• We recommend treating your earbuds with care, similar to expensive sunglasses, and storing them safely when not in use.
