This USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) 7-port hub adds seven USB Type-A ports to a computer, with the advantage that each port has an individual on/off switch. The USB hub is self-powered thanks to the included power adapter. It can be connected to a USB-A or USB-C port on a laptop or desktop computer. The seven ports on this USB power strip feature a switch to disable data/power to the connected device when not in use. This means you can turn off individual USB ports to reduce power consumption, without physically unplugging the device or cable. Additionally, this feature can ensure privacy by turning off cameras or external data storage devices containing sensitive data when not in use. This USB power strip is self-powered thanks to the included 65W power adapter. This allows all seven ports on this USB hub to support BC 1.2 technology, delivering 1.5A (7.5W) of power simultaneously (52.5W total), making it ideal for charging battery-powered USB devices like smartphones and tablets, while also ensuring data connectivity.
