  • The condition of the device at the time of installation to ensure safe installation.
  • This data sheet and installation manual.

Before mounting, commissioning, and operation, ensure the correct pressure gauge has been selected regarding measuring range, design, and suitable wetted medium for the specific measuring conditions. Pressure gauges should only be installed and maintained by qualified personnel authorized by the plant operator. Failure to comply with applicable regulations may result in serious personal injury and/or property damage.

Notes on Disposal

As a component of a large-scale fixed installation, JCI products are intended for permanent use as part of a building or structure at a pre-defined location. Therefore, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Act (WEEE) is not applicable. However, most products may contain valuable materials that should be recycled and not disposed of as domestic waste. Please observe relevant local disposal regulations.

EU Conformity

Johnson Controls, Inc. declares that these products comply with the essential requirements and other relevant provisions of the EMC Directive and RoHS Directive.

Enclosure with UV and Weather Protection

Outdoor mounted plastics can lose color and quality over time. Therefore, all hinged cover enclosures are made of special white polycarbonate (PC). Light-stable colorants and additives are used to achieve optimum polymer protection while maintaining color stability. The titanium dioxide used is specifically developed for polycarbonate and offers excellent UV protection by reflecting the entire light spectrum, including the UV component around 340 nm. This effectively counteracts photochemical polymer degradation. Colors remain stable and do not fade for a long time. The material is also resistant to cold and frost.

AZ - Automatic Zero-Point Calibration (optional)

Initial Power ON: Upon initial power-up, the Auto-zero reset is performed multiple times within intervals shorter than 10 minutes (unlike normal operation). This compensates for the sensor and PCB self-heating after startup, ensuring accurate measurements. After approximately 30 minutes, the device enters full operational mode.

Transmitters equipped with automatic zero-point correction are maintenance-free.

The auto-zero calibration electronically adjusts the transmitter to zero every 10 minutes. This function eliminates output signal drifts caused by thermal, electronic, or mechanical effects. The auto-zero adjustment takes approximately 4 seconds, after which the device returns to normal operation. During the 4-second correction phase, output and display values freeze to the last measured value. After correction, display values and output signal resume live mode.

To achieve IP 65 protection according to EN 60529, the cover must be bolted at the designated location, for example, using a 3.5x10 mm screw according to EN 7981.

Manual Zero-Point Correction

1 - Status (Power LED): Indicates device power status.

2 - Button for manual zero point correction: It is recommended to perform manual zero-point correction every 12 months during normal operation.

Attention: The power supply must be connected for at least one hour before performing manual zero-point correction.

  • Remove both connection tubes from the pressure terminals '+' and '-'.
  • Press the button until the LED lights up permanently.
  • Wait until the LED flashes again and reinstall the connection tubes to the pressure terminals, observing the '+' and '-' polarity.
