Amazon Fire TV Stick Motherboard Replacement

Introduction
This guide takes you step by step through the process required to replace the motherboard of the Amazon Fire TV Stick. This task is simple and should not take more than a few minutes. To complete this you will need a plastic opening tool. If you follow the easy steps you will successfully remove the faulty motherboard and replace it.

Step 1: Motherboard Removal

• Insert a plastic opening tool into the seam on either side of the device.
• Slide the plastic opening tools along the seam of the stick and pry the top half of the case away from the bottom.
⚠️ Don't force the case apart. If you've successfully unhooked all of the clips, the case will be easy to remove.
Step 2: Extract Motherboard

• Lift the back of the motherboard and slide it out of the case.
To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
