Safety Requirements

This unit is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are supervised or instructed by a responsible person. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the unit. The appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above under supervision if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without supervision. Children must not play with the appliance.

Connection to the mains must be made through a disconnecting device integrated into the fixed wiring system, compliant with wiring rules for electrical units, and featuring all-pole contact separation for overvoltage category III conditions. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid safety hazards.

CAUTION: To prevent inadvertent resetting of the thermal cutout, this unit must not be supplied through an external switching device (like a timer) or connected to a circuit switched on/off by the utility.

Take precautions to avoid back-flow of gases into the room from open flues of gas or other fuel-burning appliances, as this can lead to carbon monoxide poisoning. After installation, a competent person should test the operation of flued gas appliances to ensure no back-flow of combustion gases occurs.

Ensure the unit is switched off from the mains before removing the guard. WARNING: If unusual oscillating movements occur, stop using the unit immediately and contact the manufacturer, its service agent, or suitably qualified persons. Replacement of safety suspension system parts must be performed by qualified personnel.

All operations described in this manual must be performed by qualified personnel trained in installation, electrical connections, and ventilation unit maintenance. Do not attempt to install, connect, or maintain the unit yourself without special knowledge, as this is unsafe.

Disconnect the power supply before any operations. Observe all user manual requirements and applicable local/national construction, electrical, and technical norms and standards during installation and operation.

General Precautions:

Disposal: The product must be disposed of separately at the end of its service life. Do not dispose of the unit as unsorted domestic waste.

Technical Data

The unit is designed for indoor application with ambient temperatures from +1°C to +40°C and relative humidity up to 80% at 25°C. Transported air temperature range is -25°C to +55°C. The ingress protection rating against hazardous parts and water ingress is IPX4. The unit is a Class I electric appliance. Design improvements may result in slight model differences.

Mounting and Set-up

Important: Read the user's manual before installing the unit. Ensure there are no visible defects (mechanical damage, missing parts, impeller jamming) before mounting. Provide protection against contact with hazardous zones by installing air ducts and protective grilles.

Mounting must be performed by qualified specialists trained in installation and maintenance of ventilation equipment.

The fan can be mounted horizontally or vertically on the floor, wall, or ceiling. Ensure convenient access for maintenance. Secure the mounting bracket to the surface using screws and dowels. Fasten the fan on the bracket with clamps and bolts. Suspend carefully and ensure secure fastening before operation.

Connect air ducts of the appropriate diameter to the fan spigots, ensuring airtight connections. Air motion must comply with the direction of the arrow on the fan label.

For optimal performance and to minimize turbulence-induced pressure losses, it is recommended to connect straight air duct sections of at least 3 fan diameters (see Technical Data) to the fan spigots. If air ducts are shorter than 1m or not connected, protect the internal parts from foreign objects.

To prevent unauthorized access, spigots may be covered with a protective grille or other device with mesh width not exceeding 12.5 mm.

Diagrams illustrating mounting options are provided, showing different orientations and connections to air ducts.

Electronics Operation Algorithm

The EC motor is controlled via an external 0-10V signal to the X2 terminal block or by the R1 internal speed controller. The SW DIP switch selects the control method:

Primo ... T fan: Activates upon control voltage application to the LT input terminal (e.g., from an indoor light switch). After the control voltage is removed, the fan continues to operate for a set time period (2-30 minutes) adjustable via the timer knob (T). Turning the knob counter-clockwise decreases the delay, clockwise increases it.

Primo ... G1 fan: Equipped with an electronic module TSC (speed controller with electronic thermostat) for automatic speed control based on air temperature. The fan switches to maximum speed when room air temperature exceeds the set point. If the air temperature drops 2°C below the set point, or if the initial temperature is below the set point, the fan operates at the set speed.

Primo ... FR1 fan: Equipped with a speed controller for fan on/off and smooth speed (air flow) regulation from minimum to maximum value.

Connection to Power Mains

Important: Power off the unit before any operations. Connection must be made by a qualified electrician. Rated electrical parameters are on the manufacturer's label. Tampering with internal connections voids the warranty.

The unit is designed for connection to power mains as specified in the "Technical data" section. Use durable, insulated, and heat-resistant conductors. Wire cross-section selection must be based on maximum load current, conductor temperature, insulation, length, and installation method.

Fan connection is made via the terminal block inside the terminal box, strictly following the wiring diagram and terminal designations. The external power input must have a QF automatic circuit breaker in the stationary wiring for overload or short-circuit protection. The circuit breaker must be easily accessible for quick power-off. The breaker's rated current must exceed the ventilator's current consumption (refer to Technical data or unit label). Select the breaker's rated current from standard series, based on the maximum current of the connected unit. The circuit breaker is not included and can be ordered separately.

Technical Maintenance

Important: Disconnect the unit from power supply before any maintenance operations. Ensure the unit is disconnected from power mains before removing protection.

Clean product surfaces regularly (e.g., every 6 months) to remove dust and dirt. Disconnect the fan from mains before maintenance. Disconnect air ducts from the fan.

Clean fans using a soft brush, cloth, vacuum cleaner, or compressed air. Do not use water, aggressive solvents, or sharp objects that could damage the impeller.

It is forbidden to remove or change the location of impeller balancers, as this can increase vibration, noise, and reduce the unit's service life.

During maintenance, check for visible defects on the unit, ensure mounting brackets are securely fastened to the fan casing, and that the unit is securely mounted.

Diagrams illustrate disconnecting power (ON/OFF switch), cleaning the fan, and indicating prohibited actions (e.g., using water, incorrect cleaning methods).

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Reasons Troubleshooting
The fan(s) do(es) not start. No power supply. Ensure the power supply line is connected correctly. Troubleshoot connection errors.
Jammed motor. Disconnect the fan from power supply. Troubleshoot motor jamming. Restart the fan.
The fan has overheated. Disconnect the fan from power supply. Eliminate the cause of overheating. Restart the fan.
Automatic circuit breaker tripping following the fan turning on. High current consumption due to short circuit in power line. Turn the fan off. Contact the Seller.
Noise, vibration. The fan impeller is soiled. Clean the impellers.
The fan or casing screw connection is loose. Tighten the screw connection of the fan or casing.
The ventilation system components (air ducts, diffusers, louvre shutters, grilles) are clogged or damaged. Clean or replace the ventilation system components.
