Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble your Razor E Prime™ Folding Electric Scooter:
- Step 1: Begin by unfolding the main frame of the scooter. This typically involves releasing a locking mechanism near the front wheel and pulling the steering column upwards. A curved arrow indicates the motion.
- Step 2: Raise the steering column to its upright position. Ensure it locks securely into place with an audible "CLICK" sound. The diagram shows a lever or button being engaged.

Charging Instructions
Proper charging is essential for battery performance and longevity.
Initial charge time: 5 hours.
- Step 1: Ensure the scooter is turned OFF. The diagram shows a power button labeled "OFF ARRÊT" (OFF in French).
- Step 2: Connect the charger plug to a standard electrical outlet. The diagram shows a charger adapter and a wall socket.
- Step 3: Connect the charger to the charging port on the scooter. The diagram shows the charging port and the charger cable being plugged in.
- Step 4: The display shows "5:00 HOURS MINUTES" indicating the initial charging duration.
- Step 5: Step 5.1: Plug the charger into the wall outlet. Step 5.2: Connect the charger to the scooter's charging port.

Important: Always use the charger supplied with the E Prime. Do not charge at or below freezing (0° C). Do not allow the charger or battery pack to overheat. Charge only at room temperature.
Battery Instructions
This product contains a Lithium-Ion battery pack.
Recycling: BATTERIES MUST BE RECYCLED. UL 2271 COMPLIANT.

PARENTS/SUPERVISING ADULTS MUST TEACH CHILDREN HOW TO SAFELY RIDE THIS PRODUCT. Failure to use common sense and heed these warnings increases the risk of damage, serious injury, or possibly death. Riding this product presents potential risks.
- Like any riding product, this product can be hazardous. Riders can fall off or encounter hazardous situations, leading to loss of control or dangerous situations.
- Both children and supervising adults must recognize that serious injury or death can occur, even with safety equipment.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK AND USE COMMON SENSE.
Parental and Adult Responsibility and Supervision are Necessary. This product can be hazardous, and not all products are appropriate for every age or size of child. Age recommendations reflect the hazards and the expected mental or physical ability of a child to cope. Parents and supervising adults must select riding products appropriate for the child's age and prevent immature or inexperienced children from endangering themselves.
- The recommended rider age for this product is 14 years of age and older.
- Any rider, even 14 or older, unable to fit comfortably on this product should not attempt to ride it.
- A parent's decision to allow a child to ride should be based on the child's maturity, skill, and ability to follow rules.
- Keep this product away from small children. It is intended for use only by persons who are completely comfortable and competent while operating it.
- Maximum rider weight: 80 kg.
- Persons with mental or physical conditions that may impair safety, dexterity, or understanding of instructions should not use this product.
- Individuals with heart conditions, head, back, or neck ailments, or pregnant women should be cautioned against operating this product.
Check E Prime Before Use - Maintain After Use
- Before use, confirm all guards and covers are in place and serviceable. Check that wheels are free of flat spots and the brake functions properly.
- After use, maintain and repair according to the manufacturer's specifications in this manual.
- Use only authorized replacement parts. Do not modify the product from its original design.
Acceptable Riding Practices and Conditions
Parents/adults should discuss these rules with their children. Protective equipment should be worn. Not to be used in traffic.
Where to Ride the E Prime
- Always check and obey local laws and regulations.
- Keep safely away from autos and motor vehicle traffic. Use only where allowed and with caution.
- Ride defensively. Avoid pedestrians, skaters, skateboards, bikes, children, or animals. Respect the rights and property of others.
- Intended for use on flat, dry surfaces like pavement or level ground, without loose debris (sand, leaves, rocks, gravel).
- Wet, slick, bumpy, uneven, or rough surfaces reduce traction and increase accident risk.
- Do not ride in mud, ice, puddles, or water.
- Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden surface changes.
- Watch out for potential obstacles that could catch wheels or cause loss of control.
- Do not ride in wet or icy weather. Never immerse the product in water, as electrical and drive components can be damaged.
- Never risk damaging surfaces like carpet or flooring by using the product indoors.
- Never use near steps or swimming pools.
How to Ride the E Prime
- NOTE: The motor will engage only when the scooter is moving at least 5 km/h (3 mph).
- Do not activate the throttle unless you are on the product in a safe outdoor environment.
- Hold the handlebars at all times while riding.
- Do not touch the brakes or hub motor when in use or immediately after riding, as they can become very hot.
- Avoid high speeds, especially on downhill rides, where control may be lost.
- Do not ride at night or when visibility is limited.
- Do not attempt stunts or tricks. The product is not strong enough for misuse and abuse like jumping or curb grinding. Racing or stunt riding increases the risk of loss of control, potentially leading to serious injury or death.
- Never allow more than one person at a time to ride.
- Keep hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothing, and similar articles away from moving parts or wheels.
- Never use headphones or a cell phone while riding.
- Never hitch a ride with a vehicle.
Proper Riding Equipment, Clothes, Shoes
- Always wear proper protective equipment: an approved safety helmet (with chin strap), elbow pads, and kneepads. A helmet may be legally required.
- A long-sleeved shirt, long pants, and gloves are recommended.
- Always wear athletic shoes (lace-up with rubber soles). Never ride barefoot or in sandals.
- Keep shoelaces tied and away from wheels, motor, and drive system.
Using the Charger
- Never modify the electric system; alteration could cause a fire.
- Use ONLY the E Prime charger provided.
- Initial charge time: 5 hours.
- Recharge time: Up to 4 hours, even if the light turns green. Recommended maximum charging time is 24 hours.
- Turn the scooter OFF after each ride. The battery may be unable to recharge if left "ON" without use.
- Do NOT charge at or below freezing (0° C).
- Do not allow the charger or battery pack to overheat. If warm, allow to cool down. Charge only at room temperature.
- Do not place the product or charger in direct sun or warm environments. Keep at normal room temperature.
- The battery pack should not be disassembled, crushed, punctured, opened, or mutilated.
- The supplied charger should be regularly examined for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure, and other parts. If damaged, do not charge until repaired or replaced.
- The charger is not a toy and should only be operated by an adult.
- Do not operate the charger near flammable materials or open flames.
- Unplug the charger and disconnect from the product when not in use.
- Do not exceed charging time.
- Always disconnect the product from the charger before wiping it down or cleaning with a damp cloth.
Maintenance
- Always inspect the product before riding and maintain it regularly. Replace worn or damaged parts immediately.
- Check that the steering system is correctly adjusted and all connection components are firmly secured and not broken.
- Check brake function. Pressing the electronic brake (on handlebar) or stepping on the rear-fender brake should provide positive braking action.
- Under normal circumstances, wheels and bearings are maintenance-free.
- Regularly check that all screwed parts are tight.
- No modifications can be made that impair safety.
- Wipe with a damp cloth to remove dirt.
- Use only authorized Razor replacement parts.
Failure to use common sense and heed these warnings increases the risk of serious injury. Use at your own risk and with appropriate and serious attention to safe operation. Use caution.

How to Ride the E Prime
Follow these steps to start riding:
- Do not activate the thumb throttle unless you are on the E Prime and in a safe, outdoor environment suitable for riding.
- Put the kickstand up.
- Press the power button (A); the LEDs will light up.
- Get on the scooter and place both hands on the handlebars.
- Kick to start (B) by pushing off the ground.
- Then, push the thumb throttle (C) to engage the motor and accelerate.
NOTE: Electric scooter must be moving at least 5 km/h (3 mph) while engaging throttle to engage motor.
NOTE: As an additional safety feature, the scooter is designed to cut power to the motor when either brake option is applied.
NOTE: Motor will re-engage (without having to kick to start) if brake is released and throttle is applied before the scooter has slowed down to under 5 km/h (3 mph).
NOTE: Practice riding only in wide open areas clear from curbs, parking blocks, and other obstacles. Impacting the wheels against any hard surface can damage the wheels. Wheels are not covered under the limited warranty.
Battery Power Level Indicator
The indicator lights show the battery charge level:
- 3 Green + 1 Yellow + 1 Red Indicator Lights: Battery is sufficiently charged.
- Yellow + Red Indicator Lights: Charge product as soon as possible. If you continue to ride, the yellow light will turn off indicating low power.
- Red Indicator Light: Stop riding and charge product immediately.

How to Stop
For controlled stops, apply the brake by pressure on the rear-fender brake or electronic brake (on handlebar).
Razor recommends practicing brake application at various speeds in an open area free from obstructions.
- Option 1: Press the electronic brake (on handlebar). The power will cut off, and the product will slow to a stop.
- Option 2: Step on the rear-fender brake with your foot. The power will cut off, and the product will slow to a stop.
