Getting Started

Modes:
- Auto mode: Automatically adjusts the fan speed based on your indoor PM levels to ensure optimal air quality. Recommended setting.
- Night mode: Lowest fan speed and fully dimmed lights.
- Fan speeds 1-2-3-4: Fan speed levels that can be manually set by pressing the Fan Speed button on the interface or adjusted via the Blueair app.
How to Use Tips
Change Brightness
Step 1: Press the Fan Speed button and On/Standby button simultaneously. Hold for three seconds.
Step 2: While holding the On/Standby button, tap the Fan Speed button with the other finger to adjust brightness. Brightness increases by one level if at the lowest, and decreases by one level if at the highest.
Enable/disable Wi-Fi/Bluetooth
Wi-Fi is on by default. Long press the Fan Speed button for about 5 seconds (until all LEDs light up and blink once). The Wi-Fi LED blinks when enabled and stays solid when successfully connected to the app. It turns off when disabled.
Enable/disable Child Lock
Long press the On/Standby button for about 5 seconds (until all LEDs light up and blink once). When Child Lock is active, the air purifier continues to operate, but speed/mode buttons are locked.
Filter Reset
Extra long press the Fan Speed button for about 15 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink once). After replacing the filter, this manually resets the filter indicator. A correct reset shows the red indicator blinking three times before disappearing.
Factory Reset
Extra long press the On/Standby button for about 30 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink four times). After reset, the air purifier restarts with default configuration and enters Standby mode.
Connect to the Blueair App
Connecting to the Blueair app allows remote control and filter usage monitoring, offering additional functions.
Steps:
- Download the Blueair app from the App Store or Google Play.
- Open the app. Create or sign into your Blueair account.
- Click on "Connect Product" and select "Blue". Follow the on-screen instructions to complete app pairing.
First-time Connection Tips:
- Ensure your air purifier is on. The Wi-Fi indicator blinking signifies readiness for pairing.
- Bluetooth is required for first-time pairing. Ensure your phone's Bluetooth is on and keep the phone within 3 feet (approx. 1 meter) of the air purifier.
- Use a visible Wi-Fi network; hidden networks are not supported.
- VPN (Virtual Private Network) should be deactivated while using the Blueair App.
- This air purifier connects only to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi. If using a dual-band router, select the 2.4GHz band.
- Keep your air purifier within 15 feet (approx. 4.5 meters) of your Wi-Fi router for optimal connection.
Maintenance Information
Important! Turn the air purifier off and disconnect it from the power supply before maintenance.
Changing Your Filter
When the air purifier's indicator light turns red, it is time to change the main filter. This typically occurs between 6 to 9 months of operation, depending on usage and air quality conditions.
Steps:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier. Rotate the top counter-clockwise to unlock, then lift to remove.
- Remove the fabric pre-filter and the silencer.
- Use the filter handles to pull out the old filter and replace it with a new one. Ensure to remove any plastic wrapping before inserting the new filter.
- Place the silencer back on top of the filter. Pull the fabric pre-filter over the filter and silencer. Ensure the leather tag is on the upper side of the fabric pre-filter.
- Twist the top back on and plug in the air purifier.
- Turn the air purifier back on and reset the filter indicator by pressing the Fan Speed button for 15 seconds (until all LEDs light up for the second time and blink once). Then release.
Cleaning Your Washable Pre-filter
Clean your pre-filter regularly when dust or dirt is visible. Vacuum the exterior with a soft brush attachment. For a deeper clean, wash according to the pre-filter's label instructions. Hang to dry.
Steps:
- Turn off and unplug the air purifier. Rotate the top counter-clockwise to unlock and remove it.
- Remove the fabric pre-filter from the silencer and main filter.
- Wash according to instructions on the fabric pre-filter's label.
- Pull the clean pre-filter back over the silencer and main filter.
- Ensure the leather tab of the pre-filter is on the upper part.
- Push the top cylinder down and rotate it clockwise to lock it.
Disposal and Recycling
