FCC RF Test Report

Document Overview

This document presents the results of Radio Frequency (RF) testing conducted on a wireless communication device, identified by FCC ID: MSQI005D. The testing was performed by Sporton International (Kunshan) Inc. and covers various aspects of RF performance for 5G NR (New Radio) technologies, specifically focusing on the n71 and n41 bands.

The report details measurements for Spurious Emissions, Frequency Stability, Peak-to-Average Ratio, 26dB Bandwidth, Occupied Bandwidth, and Conducted Band Edge characteristics across a range of bandwidths (5MHz to 100MHz) and modulations (PI/2 BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256QAM).

Spurious Emissions

Conducted spurious emissions were measured across various frequency ranges and configurations to ensure compliance with regulatory limits. The tests covered multiple bandwidths (e.g., 90MHz, 100MHz) and modulations (PI/2 BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, 256QAM) under different channel conditions (Lowest, Middle, Highest). The results, presented in spectral plots and detailed tables, indicated that emissions generally stayed within the specified limits, with "PASS" results noted for the tested configurations. Further detailed conducted spurious emissions were analyzed for NR bandwidths from 20MHz to 100MHz, covering lowest, middle, and highest channels with QPSK modulation. These tests also confirmed compliance with emission standards.

Frequency Stability

The frequency stability of the device was evaluated under varying temperature and voltage conditions. The following table summarizes the deviation in parts per million (ppm) observed:

Temperature (°C)Voltage (Volt)n41_UL MIMO (QPSK) / Middle Channel (100MHz) Deviation (ppm)LimitResult

Notes:
1. Normal Voltage = 7.6 V; Battery End Point (BEP) = 7.3 V; Maximum Voltage = 8.7 V.
2. The frequency fundamental emissions stay within the authorized frequency block.

Peak-to-Average Ratio (PAR)

The Peak-to-Average Ratio (PAR) was measured for various modulations and configurations. This metric indicates the ratio of the peak signal power to the average signal power.

Bandwidth Measurements

26dB Bandwidth

The 26dB bandwidth was measured for different modulations and channels.

Note: The table for FR1 n5 / 20MHz / CP OFDM appears incomplete in the source document for the Middle CH column.

Occupied Bandwidth (99% OBW)

The 99% Occupied Bandwidth was measured for different modulations and channels.

Conducted Band Edge

Conducted band edge measurements were performed to assess signal power at the channel edges for various configurations. These tests ensure that out-of-band emissions remain within regulatory limits. Measurements were conducted for 5MHz, 10MHz, and 15MHz bandwidths using PI/2 BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM, and 256QAM modulations, covering both 1RB (Resource Block) and Full RB scenarios for lowest and highest band edges. The spectral plots and associated data tables confirmed compliance with the specified limits.
