Functions
Safety Lock: The blender has a safety lock that automatically turns it off when the jug is removed. It also features a motor protection device that engages in case of overload.
Smooth Start System: When the appliance is started, the speed gradually increases to the set speed. This prevents damage to the appliance and utensils, avoids spillage, and ensures better mixing.
- The Smooth Start function works only when speeds 1 to 4 are selected and does not function with the PULSE mode or the CRUSH ICE or SMOOTHIE programs.
PULSE Function: Pressing the PULSE button turns the blender on at maximum speed. When the button is released, the appliance immediately locks. It is advisable to use a minimum quantity of 100g and not to blend for more than 5 consecutive seconds.
- The PULSE function does not work in combination with the CRUSH ICE or SMOOTHIE programs.
Crush Ice and Smoothie Programs: The pre-set 'Crush Ice' and 'Smoothie' programs automatically adjust the speed to optimize blending for a default time, then automatically deactivate.
- If you select one of the pre-set programs, after pressing START, the blender will operate automatically, and the central button's LED will illuminate to indicate the cycle is active.
- Use the CRUSH ICE program (pre-set time 50 seconds) which operates with intense, brief pulses to crush ice cubes or frozen fruit.

Use/Cleaning and Maintenance
Suggestions for using the blender:
- For best results, cut ingredients into cubes before blending.
- Do not use the PULSE function for more than 5 seconds at a time. You may need to interrupt operation to slide ingredients down the blender jug walls with a spatula.
- When blending liquid and dry ingredients together, add the liquid ingredients first, followed by the dry ones.
- Remove hard elements from ingredients before blending (e.g., fruit pits, bones, etc.).
- Do not let food residues dry in the jug and on the blades, as they can be difficult to remove. If residues cannot be removed immediately, pour in a little hot water and let it soak.
- Do not blend hot food. Let food cool to room temperature before blending.
Incorrect Use. Danger of electric shock:
- Ensure the blender is disconnected from the power outlet before assembling or removing the blades.
Incorrect Use. Risk of damage to surfaces:
- Do not use steam jets to clean the appliance.
- Do not use cleaning products containing chlorine, ammonia, or bleach on parts with metallic finishes (e.g., anodized, nickel-plated, chrome-plated).
- Do not use abrasive or corrosive detergents (e.g., powder products, stain removers, and metal scouring pads).
- Do not use rough or abrasive materials or sharp metal scrapers.
Cleaning the motor base:
For good preservation of the external surfaces, clean them regularly after each use, after allowing them to cool. Clean with a soft, damp cloth and neutral detergent.
Cleaning the jug and blades
- Wash the jug and dosing cap with hot water and soap or in the dishwasher. The blender jug can be washed in the dishwasher only after removing the blades, without turning it upside down. The blades can be washed with hot water and soap, NEVER in the dishwasher.
Sharp Blades. Danger of cuts:
- Avoid touching the blades with your hands.
- Remove the blades using the dosing cap.
Using the automatic cleaning option:
- Fill the jug with hot water and neutral detergent.
- Turn the control knob to position 1.
- Press the START button.
- Press the PULSE button for 2 seconds at a time. Repeat the operation about ten times.
- Remove the jug, empty it, and rinse it.
- Dry carefully.
