The bar has been set to a new standard with Phanteks' release of their first Enthoo Series case. Passionate about cooling and the one that brought you the world's best air coolers, Phanteks enters the chassis arena with their functional design with exceptional cooling possibilities, the Enthoo Primo.

4. Brackets

SSD Bracket: Supports SSD installation.

Reservoir Bracket: Supports reservoir mounting.

Side Radiator Bracket: For side radiator mounting.

Bottom Radiator Bracket: For bottom radiator mounting.

Pump Bracket: For pump mounting.

5. I/O Ports and Front Panel

6. Connections

LED ON/OFF SWITCH

Note: Slots 1, 2, and 8 are occupied by default. Slots 3-6 are unoccupied connectors for Phanteks LED fan upgrades. Slot 9 is a Molex output connector for LED Strips.

MOLEX CONNECTOR

This section details motherboard connections for Power LED, Reset SW, Power SW, H.D.D LED, USB 3.0, and USB 2.0. The diagrams show pin layouts for these connectors.

7. Panel Removal

Side Panels

To remove the side panels: Unscrew the 4 thumb screws ? located at the rear of the case. Then, pull the panels outwards.

Front and Top Panels

Caution: To prevent damage to the panels, please follow the steps in order.

  1. Step 1: Pull outward ⬅️ to remove the front panel. Note: Use caution when removing the front panel, as Power LED wires are attached to it.
  2. Step 2: Pull up ⬆️ to remove the top panel.

8. Motherboard Installation

Preparation:

  1. Step 1: Remove the reservoir bracket by unscrewing the four screws before installing the motherboard.

Standoff Screws:

  1. Step 2: Standoff screws are pre-installed for ATX motherboards. Extra standoffs are required for E-ATX motherboards. Ensure standoffs are correctly positioned for your motherboard form factor.

Installation:

  1. Step 3: Install the motherboard onto the standoffs and secure it with the provided M3 screws.

9. Power Supply Installation

Standard Installation (Rear):

Align the power supply unit (PSU) with the mounting holes at the rear of the chassis. Use the provided screws ? to secure the PSU in place.

Optional PSU Installation (Second PSU)

Recommendation: This location is recommended for an optional second PSU. Note that airflow may be restricted if a PSU is installed here.

To access this location, unscrew the panel to reveal the PSU mounting area. Align the PSU with the mounting holes and use the provided screws ? and rubber dampers to secure the PSU to the chassis.

10. Filters Removal

Dust Filters

The case features dust filters for easy maintenance.

Filters are located at the front and bottom of the case.

12. PWM Hub

The PWM Hub allows for PWM control of up to 11 fans. It can be mounted in various locations within the case.

13. SSD/ODD Installation

SSD Installation

Method 1 (Bracket): Slide the bottom SSD into the bracket, place the second SSD on top, and screw in to lock. The "DROP N LOCK" mechanism involves aligning the corner of the bracket to the guide and dropping it down to lock.

Method 2 (Direct Mount): Align the SSD onto the mounting holes on the drive cages or specific mounting points and screw in.

ODD (Optical Drive) Installation

To install an ODD:

  1. Push in the two sides of the ODD cover to release it.
  2. Align the ODD with the drive bay and slide it in.

14. Hard Drive Installation

3.5" Hard Drive Installation

Place the 3.5" hard drive into the tray. Push the arms inwards to lock the drive securely.

Align the tray with the HDD cage and slide it in to secure.

2.5" SSD Installation

Align the SSD onto the designated mounting holes on the drive cages or specific mounting points and screw in.

Removing and Repositioning HDD Cages

To remove HDD cages: Unscrew the thumbscrews ? holding the cages in place and slide them out.

To reposition HDD cages:

  1. Unscrew the rails under the ODD bay.
  2. Pull the tab out to release the cage assembly.
  3. Remove the thumbscrew on the HDD cage stand.
  4. Reposition the cage to an alternate placement location and reassemble.

15. Watercooling Installation

Radiator Compatibility

The Enthoo Primo supports various radiator sizes for both 120mm and 140mm form factors across different mounting locations.

Radiator Brackets

Pump Bracket

The pump bracket features universal mounting, allowing for multiple pump types and sizes to be installed. It can be mounted with or without the HDD stand.

Reservoir Bracket

The reservoir bracket can be installed at the rear of the chassis. Unscrew the cover to install the reservoir. Specific dimensions are provided for mounting.
