Installation Guide
Important: Ensure the power is OFF (230V - Power OFF) before starting installation.
Mounting
- Step 1: Prepare Mounting Location
- The detector requires a diameter 76 mm drill hole.
- Fixed Ceiling Mounting: The mounting bracket is [fixed ceiling].
- Suspended Ceiling Mounting: The mounting bracket is [suspended ceiling].
- Ensure the mounting height is between 2 and 3.5 meters. Minimum flush mounting depth required is 56.9 mm.
Wiring
- Step 2: Connect Wires
- Refer to the wiring diagram. Connect the 230V power supply (L, N) and the load control (C, NO).
- The terminals are marked: T1/S, N, L, C, NO, S, S, N, N, L, L.
- Note: The terminal marked with '*' can be removed if you want to use the contact as a dry contact (potential-free).
- Wire capacity: 1.5/2.5 mm².

- The detector fits into a diameter 76 mm cutout.

Final Installation
- Step 4: Mount Detector
- Connect the detector to the 230V power supply (230V - Power ON).
- The detector snaps into place using the SnapFit mounting bracket.
- The required ceiling thickness for mounting is 9.5-40 mm (for fixed ceiling) or 0.2-9 mm (for suspended ceiling).
- The detector can be optionally connected via Bluetooth for app configuration.
App Configuration
Bluetooth Connection
- Connect your mobile device to the detector via Bluetooth for configuration.
- Download the Niko detector tool app from ▶️ [Google Play Store] or ▶️ [Apple App Store].
- Maximum Bluetooth range: 25 m (free field).
Settings
- Adjust settings such as Sensitivity (default: High).
- Configuration is done via the app using 2-way Bluetooth communication.

Detection Area
The detection area is measured according to EN/IEC63180. The diagram shows coverage at different distances and angles.
- Range A (Walking): Up to 2.5 m (at height 3.0 m)
- Range B (Presence): Up to 13 m (at height 3.0 m)
- Range C (Presence): Up to 11 m (at height 3.0 m)
- Range D (Towards Presence): Up to 3 m (at height 3.0 m)

Troubleshooting Guide
