Right-Click Functionality in iPadOS

A right-click on iPadOS is equivalent to a long-press with a finger. When using a mouse, you do not need to hold down the click to make the menu appear; it displays instantly.

Note: This functionality depends on support from the app developer.

Changing Mouse Scrolling Direction on iPadOS

You can alter the scrolling direction of your mouse from 'Natural Scrolling' to the reverse direction. Follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to Settings > General > Trackpad and Mouse.
  2. Slide the toggle to the left to disable Natural Scrolling.

Warning Message When Connecting a Logitech Device to iPadOS

You may encounter a warning message when connecting your Logitech device. If this occurs, ensure that only the devices you intend to use are connected. Having too many connected devices can increase interference.

If you experience connectivity problems, disconnect any Bluetooth accessories that are not currently in use. To disconnect a device:

Bluetooth Mouse or Keyboard Not Recognized After Reboot on macOS (Intel-based Mac) with FileVault

If your Bluetooth mouse or keyboard fails to reconnect at the login screen after a reboot and only reconnects after logging in, this may be related to FileVault encryption. When FileVault is enabled, Bluetooth mice and keyboards will only re-establish connection after you log in.

Potential Solutions:

Note: This issue is resolved in macOS 12.3 and later on M1-based Macs. Users with older versions may still encounter this problem.
