Function ECO/GEAR
Press the ECO/GEAR button to cycle through energy-saving modes: ECO → GEAR (75%) → GEAR (50%) → Previous setting. This function is only available in COOL mode.
Function ECO (Sleep)
In COOL mode, pressing ECO automatically sets the temperature to 24°C (75°F) with Auto fan speed for energy saving. If the set temperature is above 24°C (75°F), pressing ECO sets the fan speed to Auto without changing the temperature.
Note: Adjusting mode or temperature below 24°C (75°F) in ECO mode will stop the ECO function. If you are uncomfortable, press ECO again to turn it off.
Function GEAR (Sleep)
Press the ECO/GEAR button to activate GEAR mode: 75% (up to 75% power consumption) or 50% (up to 50% power consumption). The set temperature will reappear after 3 seconds.
Function Silence
Press and hold the Fan button for over 2 seconds to activate/deactivate the Silence function. This may result in reduced cooling/heating capacity due to low compressor frequency.
Function FP
In HEAT mode, press the button twice within one second and set the temperature to 16°C (60°F). The unit operates at high fan speed, and the temperature is automatically set to 80°C/46°F. This function is for heat pump air conditioners only. To cancel, press ON/OFF, Mode, Fan, or Temp buttons, or initiate sleep mode.
Function CLEAN (DELAY)
Press the Clean button to activate the Active Clean function. This technology removes dust, mold, and grease that cause odors by freezing them onto the heat exchanger and then rapidly defrosting the frost. The indoor unit display will show "CL" when active. After 20-45 minutes, the function automatically deactivates.
Function Turbo
In COOL mode, Turbo blows air at the highest setting for rapid cooling. In HEAT mode, Turbo blows air at the highest setting for rapid heating. For units with electric heaters, the electric heater will activate.
Overheating Function
Press and hold the Turbo button for 5 seconds in HEAT or Auto-Heat mode to activate the overheating function. Press and hold for 3 seconds to deactivate. This function improves heating speed at low temperatures. The louver opens to its maximum angle for rapid temperature achievement. Note: Cold air function is deactivated 5 minutes after compressor start, potentially causing low air outlet temperature. Activate or deactivate based on your needs.
Note: "On" or "Off" will display for 3 seconds on the indoor unit display when the overheating function is activated or deactivated. Changing the mode or turning off the unit also stops the overheating function.
Function SET (RÉGLAGE)
Press the SET button to access function settings. Use SET or TEMP ∧/∨ to select the desired function. The selected symbol flashes; press OK to confirm. To cancel, repeat the procedure. Functions include Fresh/UV-C Lamp (?), Sleep (?), Follow Me (8), AP Mode (⚙️). [*] Only units with Fresh or AP function.
Function Fresh/UV-C Lamp
Activates the ionizer or UV-C lamp for air purification.
Function Sleep
Used to reduce energy consumption during sleep for comfortable temperature regulation. This function can only be activated via the remote. Note: SLEEP function is not available in FAN or DRY modes.
Function AP
Select AP mode for wireless setup. To enter AP mode, press the LED button seven times within 10 seconds.
Function Follow Me
The remote measures the ambient temperature and sends the signal to the unit every 3 minutes. This allows the unit to optimize the temperature around you for maximum comfort, especially in AUTO, COOL, or HEAT modes. Press OK for 3 seconds to start/stop the Follow Me memory function. "On" or "OF" will display for 3 seconds. The Follow Me function is not canceled by changing modes or power outages when memory is active.
