Gockel Original Cornhole: User Manual and Safety Guide
Safety Precautions
- Material: BOARDS are made of wood. Handle with care during use and transportation to avoid bumps and splinters. Inspect the product before use and smooth any splinters with sandpaper if necessary.
- Intended Use: BOARDS are designed exclusively for the game of Cornhole as described in the rules. Do not use them for sitting, walking, standing, as a ramp, or for any other purpose.
- Bag Contents: BAGS are filled with corn and feature double-stitched seams. Regularly check BAGS for integrity before use. Discard any damaged BAGS as household waste.
- Bag Usage: BAGS are intended solely for throwing at BOARDS. Do not throw BAGS at people or animals.
- Oral Contact: Never place BAGS in your mouth. The corn inside can break down, releasing corn powder which enhances the “slide” during play.
Choking Hazards
- Bag Wear: Due to normal wear, BAGS may tear and release corn powder. Keep BAGS out of mouths to prevent choking or suffocation.
- Small Parts: The magnets in the SCORE & SODA KEEPER are small. Keep them out of mouths to prevent choking or suffocation.
Maintenance and Care
- Board Storage: BOARDS are made of wood and intended for dry use only. Do not leave BOARDS outdoors. Store BOARDS in a dry environment, avoiding moisture. If a BOARD becomes wet, allow it to dry completely. Then, sand the playing surface with fine-grit sandpaper (400) to restore optimal "slide" for the BAGS.
- Oiled Boards: If your BOARD has been oiled, annual re-oiling is recommended, following the oil manufacturer's instructions. After the oil dries, sand the playing surface with fine-grit sandpaper (400) for optimal BAG "slide".
- Bag Storage: Keep BAGS dry. If BAGS become wet, dry them in open air. If the corn develops mold, discard the BAGS as household waste.
- Accessory Storage: Store the SCORE & SODA KEEPER in a dry place to ensure its longevity.
