GOCKEL Original Cornhole Manual
Safety
- The BOARDS are made of wood. Transport and use can cause imperfections and splinters. Inspect the product before use. Remove splinters and, if necessary, smooth the BOARD with sandpaper.
- The BOARDS are exclusively suitable for use in the game as described in the rules. The BOARDS are not suitable for sitting on, walking over, standing on, using as a ramp, or otherwise.
- The BAGS are filled with maize. The seams of the BAGS are double-stitched. Nevertheless, we recommend checking the BAGS before use to ensure they are still closed. In case of damage, the BAG should be discarded (household waste).
- The BAGS are exclusively to be used for throwing at the BOARDS. The BAGS are not intended for throwing at people or animals.
- Never put the BAGS in your mouth. During use, the maize in the BAGS can break, releasing maize powder. This powder enhances the "slide" during the game.
Choking Hazards
- Due to wear, a BAG can tear, releasing maize (powder). Do not put the BAGS in your mouth to prevent choking or suffocation.
- The magnets on the SCORE & SODA KEEPER are small. Do not put the magnets in your mouth to prevent choking or suffocation.
Maintenance
- The BOARDS are made of wood, for dry use only. Do not leave the BOARDS outside. Store the BOARDS in a dry space and prevent them from becoming wet/moist.
- If a BOARD gets wet, let it dry and sand the playing surface smooth with fine sandpaper (400) for an optimal "slide" of the BAGS.
- If a BOARD has been oiled, we recommend treating the BOARD annually with oil according to the oil's instructions. After the oil has dried, sand the playing surface with fine sandpaper (400) to achieve an optimal "slide" of the BAGS.
- Keep the BAGS dry. If the BAGS become wet unexpectedly, dry them outdoors. If the maize becomes moldy, the BAG should be discarded (household waste).
- Store the SCORE & SODA KEEPER in a dry place for sustainable use.
