Extender Placement and Setup

Optimal Extender Placement:

  2. Connect the power adapter and turn the device ON.
  3. Wait for the Status LED around the Mode button to blink green.
  4. Press and release the Mode button on the Pulse EX600 once; the Status LED will blink blue.
  5. Within two minutes, press the same Mode button on the Pulse EX600 router.
  6. Automated pairing will begin. The Status LED will turn solid blue upon successful pairing (the extender may reboot, taking several minutes).
  7. Wait for the Status LED to stop blinking and turn solid green.

Your Pulse EX600 is now set up as a wireless extender.

Wired Extender Setup:

  1. Connect a network cable between the LAN port (yellow) of the Pulse EX600 router and the WAN port (red) of the Pulse EX600 extender.
  2. Connect the power adapter and turn the device ON.
  3. Wait for the Status LED to stop blinking and turn solid green (the extender may reboot during setup).

Your Pulse EX600 is now set up as a wired extender.
