Installation Manual
This manual provides comprehensive instructions for the installation and safe operation of the Traulux SMI-W100 motorised wall mount. It is designed for screens up to 95 inches and a maximum weight of 100 kg.
Safety Instructions
⚠️ Failure to follow these instructions may result in accidents or product damage.
General Safety
- This product is not intended for use by young children without supervision.
- If the product shows visible damage, do not install it.
- Ensure there is no possibility of personal injury (e.g., trapping fingers, hands, or arms) when the motor is in operation.
- Assure free space for movement of the screen in both directions to avoid blockades.
- For indoor use only, within ambient temperatures between 10°C and 40°C.
Before Start-up
- Make sure the system has been installed following this manual.
- Verify that the control box voltage is correct before connecting to the mains power.
During Operation
- If the control box or motors make unusual noise or smell, switch off the mains voltage immediately.
- Take care that cables are not damaged or pinched.
- Unplug the mains cable before moving the system.

Incorrect Use / Misuse
- Do not overload the motors beyond their maximum capacity.
- Do not use the motors for lifting persons.
Maintenance
- Disconnect the system from the mains power before cleaning.
- Cleaners and disinfectants used must not be highly alkaline or acidic (pH 6-8).

Package Contents and Tools Needed
The package includes the main wall mount structure, mounting arms, and all necessary hardware for assembly. A visual representation shows all components.

Installation Steps
Follow these steps carefully for a successful installation.
Step 1: Attach Mounting Arms
Attach the mounting arms to the main bracket. Use the provided Allen keys (M6, M8) and spanner (M10). (Diagram shows arms being attached to a central piece).
Step 2: Assemble Base Structure
Assemble the base components. Use 8x M6x16mm screws (DIN 912) and 8x M6 washers (DIN 125 A) secured with an Allen key. (Diagram shows base assembly with specific screws and tools).
Step 3: Attach Main Bracket
Connect the main bracket assembly to the vertical support structure. Use 4x M8x80mm screws (DIN 912) and 4x M8 washers (DIN 125 M8), secured with Allen keys (M8, M6). (Diagram shows bracket being attached to vertical posts).
Step 4: Motor Calibration
To calibrate the motor, press and hold the 'down' button on the remote control for 3 seconds until the motor moves to its lowest position. (Diagram shows remote control and arrows indicating downward movement).
Step 5: Attach VESA Plates to Screen
Attach the VESA mounting plates to the back of your screen. Screen-specific screws are typically required for this step and may not be included. (Diagram shows VESA plates and placeholder screws).
Step 6: Mount Wall Bracket
Securely mount the main wall bracket to the desired wall location. Use appropriate wall anchors and screws suitable for your wall type (not included). (Diagram shows wall mounting plate being attached to a wall).
Step 7: Attach Screen Assembly to Wall Bracket
Connect the screen assembly (with VESA plates attached) to the wall bracket. Use 2x M8x70mm screws (DIN 912) and 2x M8 washers (DIN 125 M8) for this connection, secured with an Allen M6 key. (Diagram shows screen assembly being attached to the wall bracket).
Step 8: Final Assembly and Stability
Ensure all connections are secure. The diagram shows the screen mounted on the fully assembled wall mount.
Step 9: Operation
Use the remote control to move the screen up or down. (Diagram shows remote and arrows indicating screen movement).
Step 10: Cable Management
Connect necessary cables to the screen and route them neatly. The diagram shows the screen being slid into place and cables being managed.
Step 11: Screen Adjustment
Adjust the screen's tilt or angle as needed. (Diagram shows arrows indicating tilt adjustment).
Items Not Included
The following items are not included with the mount but may be required for setup:
- Power strip/socket: Recommended dimensions are 20x5x4 cm.
- Power cable: Recommended length is 3m.
