FAAC T-MODE Remote Control Instructions

Product Overview

The FAAC T-MODE is a remote control system designed for gate openers and other automated systems. This document provides instructions for its setup, operation, and maintenance.

Key Features and Components

Programming and Operation

1. Memory Storage of the First Remote Control

Procedure: During the SET-UP phase, the motor is activated by a manual push-button. Ensure the push-button is held down until the SET-UP procedure is complete.

1. Turn on the power to the motor.
2. Press the 'P' button on the remote control.
3. Wait for more than 10 seconds.
4. Press the 'P' button again.
5. Wait for more than 10 seconds.
6. Press the 'P' button a third time.

2. Addition of Other Remote Controls

Procedure:

1. Select a previously memorized remote control.
2. Press the 'P' switch on the new remote control.
3. Press the 'STOP' button on the new remote control.

3. Cancellation of a Single Remote Control

Procedure:

1. Choose the remote control to be cancelled from the memory.
2. Press the 'P' button on the remote control.
3. Wait for more than 5 seconds.
4. Press the 'STOP' button on the remote control.

4. Cancellation of All Remote Controls

Procedure:

1. Disconnect the motor from the power supply.
2. Connect the black wire to the brown wire. (If using a step-by-step push-button, simply hold it down without making the connection.)
3. Reconnect the motor to the power supply.
4. After approximately 5 seconds, the motor will move in both directions for 1 second, indicating that the memory has been completely cleared.

5. Storage of the Preferred Position

Procedure:

1. Move the gate to the desired open position and press the 'STOP' button.
2. Press and hold the 'STOP' button for 1 second.
3. Move the gate to the desired closed position and press the 'STOP' button.
4. Press and hold the 'STOP' button for 1 second.
5. Press and hold the 'STOP' button for 5 seconds to save the preferred positions.

6. ON-OFF Sun Sensor

Press the sun sensor activation/deactivation button. The display will show the sensor status (ON-OFF). Press the same button again to change the status.

7. Channel Selection

Use the channel selection buttons to cycle through available channels.

8. Battery Substitution

Follow the diagrams to replace the battery in the remote control.

Label Description

• B - Production Batch Identification Number: Batch number for manufacturing traceability.
• C - Read the Instructions: Indicates that the user manual should be consulted.
