Installation Instructions
Open the saddlebags and remove the two side panels below the seat. Disconnect the heated seat harness. Using a 6mm allen wrench, remove the seat screws on each side. Pull straight up on the front of the seat, then slide the seat forward to release the rear of the seat.
Visual Aid Description: Figure 1 shows the heated seat harness connection. Figure 2 illustrates the use of a 6mm allen wrench to remove seat screws.
Locate the left and right rear lighting connectors. Unplug both connectors by pressing the release tab and pulling them apart.
Visual Aid Description: Figure 3 depicts the left and right rear lighting connectors, highlighting the release tab.
Route the left and right in-line connector cables under the frame crossbar towards the rear of the motorcycle. The flash module should be positioned next to the right side of the frame near the fuel tank.
Visual Aid Description: Figure 4 illustrates the routing of the feed wires under the crossbar and the placement of the flash module on the right side of the motorcycle frame. It labels the front and right/left sides.
Determine the left and right Goldstrike connector plugs by checking the labels. Plug them in-line with the factory wiring connectors that were disconnected in step 2. Ensure the large connectors are placed out of the way so the seat will not crush them.
Visual Aid Description: Figure 5 shows the process of plugging in the connectors, tucking them out of the way to avoid the frame, and positioning the flash module.
Download the Lightstrike app from your app provider. The default password is 000000 (six zeros). Test the lighting functions.
Plug in the heated seat harness and reinstall the seat, ensuring that wires and connectors are not being pinched.
Lightstrike App Control
The Lightstrike module uses your smartphone and Bluetooth to control the product. Follow these steps:

Installation Recommendations
The 48019 tail light flash module provides limited Lightstrike customization for lights connected behind it. It is intended for use with OEM tail lights, but additional features may be available with other accessory lighting. If connecting to lights with built-in Lightstrike features, functions may conflict.
Ciro recommends installing the 48019 tail light flash module in one of three ways:
- No Other Plug & Play Harnesses: Plug the suitable left/right connectors directly in-line with the OEM left/right connectors located near the rear of the under-seat area.
- With Existing 48000 Plug & Play Harness (No Other Lightstrike Lighting): Plug the 48019 Tail Light Flash Module ahead of the 48000 plug and play harness. This allows the 48019 module to affect all downstream brake lighting, adding limited brake functions to each of those lights.
- With Existing 48000 Plug & Play Harness (With Other Lightstrike Lighting): To ensure each lighting product works as originally intended, plug the 48019 Tail Light Flash Module in behind the 48000 plug and play harness. This allows original Lightstrike lights to be customized individually through the app, and the flash module will only affect lights connected behind it.
Note: It is also possible to add a second 48000 plug and play harness. This would allow the 48019 tail light flash module to control some, but not all, installed lights. The 48019 module should be installed between the two 48000 plug and play harnesses. Lights ahead of the module will not be affected by its customization settings, but lights after the 48019 would gain functions.
