Welcome to the Burnhard BBQ Black Carpet! This guide will help you get started with your new grill mat.

Before You Start

Unroll your BBQ grill mat completely after unboxing and leave it for a few hours, preferably overnight, so that it can fully unfold before use.

IMPORTANT: Always ensure to release your BBQ's brakes before pushing it onto or over the mat. Rolling it while the brakes are still locked can cause damage and scratches on the mat's surface. ⚠️

Cleaning and Maintenance

Utilities

To clean your grill mat, you can use a hand brush, broom, or scrubber with soft bristles. Hard brushes may damage your mat.
Use common, mild cleaning agents such as household washing-up liquid, citric acid, white vinegar, or rubbing alcohol.
You can also clean your BBQ grill mat with a high-pressure cleaner, keeping a minimum distance of 30-40 cm from the mat to avoid damage.

Maintenance

If your mat frequently comes into contact with water due to cleaning or rain, wipe it dry with a cloth afterwards. This helps prevent the formation of verdigris and mould. ?

Recommended Storage

If your mat is not in permanent use underneath the grill, store it rolled up in a dry place. ?
