Thank you for purchasing the Innuos ZENmini Mk3 Music Server. This guide provides essential steps to get you started.

1. ZENmini Mk3 Rear Panel Diagram
The rear panel of the ZENmini Mk3 features several ports:
- 1. DC Power Connector: For connecting the power adapter (9V-24V).
- 2. 4 x USB 3.0 Ports: For connecting external storage or other USB devices.
- 3. Ethernet Input from Router: Connects to your home network router.
- 4. Ethernet Streamer Output: For connecting directly to a network audio streamer.
- 5. HDMI Output (Service Only): For diagnostic purposes.
- 6. Digital Coaxial Output: For digital audio connection.
- 7. Digital Optical Output: For digital audio connection.
- 8. Analog RCA Output: For analog audio connection.
The unit is designed in England and manufactured in Portugal. Please read the manual before use. It also displays CE certification.
2. Box Contents
Your Innuos ZENmini Mk3 package includes:
- 1. Innuos ZENmini Mk3 Music Server: The main device.
- 2. AC/DC Power Adapter: To power the server.
- 3. Mains Cable: Available with various plug types (CHN/AUS, EU, USA/CAN, UK).
- 4. 2m Ethernet Cable: For network connection.
3. Connect your ZENmini to Mains Power
Connect the AC/DC Power Adapter to the ZENmini's DC Power Connector (port 1 on the rear panel) and plug the Mains Cable into a power outlet.

4. Connect your ZENmini to your Home Network
OPTION A: Wired to the Internet Router
Connect the ZENmini's Ethernet Input (port 3) to your internet router using the provided Ethernet Cable.

5. Connect Network Audio Device to Streamer Port
NOTE: Optional - Not required for server operation.
The Streamer Port (port 4 on the rear panel) provides a dedicated wired network connection for streamers, wireless speakers, and other network audio products. Connect your network audio device to this port using an Ethernet Cable.

6. Using your ZENmini as a Player
You can connect your ZENmini to a DAC/Amplifier using various methods:
SETUP A: Connect to a DAC/Amplifier via USB
Connect the ZENmini's USB 3.0 port (port 2) to your DAC/Amplifier's USB input using a USB Male A to Male B Cable. Note: USB Cable is not included. Requires a DAC compatible with USB Audio Class 2.

SETUP B: Connect to a DAC/Amplifier via Coaxial Cable
Connect the ZENmini's Digital Coaxial Output (port 6) to your DAC/Amplifier's Coaxial input using a Coaxial Cable. Note: Coaxial Cable is not included.

SETUP C: Connect to a DAC/Amplifier via Optical Cable
Connect the ZENmini's Digital Optical Output (port 7) to your DAC/Amplifier's Optical input using an Optical Cable. Note: Optical Cable is not included.

SETUP D: Connect to Amplifier via Analog Cable
Connect the ZENmini's Analog RCA Output (port 8) to your Amplifier's Analog Line In input using RCA Cables. Note: RCA Analog Cable is not included.

7. Turn on your ZENmini
Press the front power button once. The indicator will show "ON", then after approximately 30 seconds, it will indicate "System Ready". Please press and release the button; do not hold it down.

8. Accessing your Innuos Device
You can access your Innuos device through different platforms:
- iPhone / iPad: Download the "Innuos Sense" app from the App Store.
- Android: Download the "Innuos Sense" app from Google Play.
- Desktop: Access via a web browser at my.innuos.com.

9. Update innuOS Software to the Latest Version
To update your innuOS software:
- Access my.innuos.com via a web browser or use the Innuos Sense app.
- Navigate to the Home page and select your Server.
- Go to Settings and then System Update.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the update.

10. Adding Music to your ZENmini
OPTION A: Rip CDs
Insert a CD into the drive. The ZENmini will automatically draw it in and begin the ripping process. A warning advises not to push the CD while it is being drawn in, as this may cause jamming or damage to the optical drive.

OPTION B: Import Digital Music
Access my.innuos.com or the Innuos Sense app. Navigate to the Home page, select your Server, and then choose the 'Import' option. Select your preferred import method and follow the on-screen instructions.

11. Streaming Services and Integrations
Access my.innuos.com or the Innuos Sense app. Navigate to the Home page, select your Server, then go to Settings.
Under 'Streaming Services', you can configure services like Qobuz and TIDAL. Under 'Integrations', you can set up services like SONOS and UPnP.
Follow the on-screen instructions for each service.
