Assembly Instructions
Step 1
Open the H-6859 storage cabinet carton first. Steps 1-3 show assembly of the interior storage cabinet for the credenza.
IMPORTANT: Function of Cam. Turn 1/4 right for locking. Make sure the arrow is pointing upwards before inserting into the panel's hole.
Step 2
Assemble the interior storage cabinet as shown. Tighten parts as indicated.
Step 3
Flip over and rest shelf (7) on shelf supports (E).
Step 4
Tighten part A.
NOTE: Open H-5711 file/file desk pedestal cartons next. Steps 4-6 show assembly of outer pedestals for credenza.
Step 5
Assemble the pedestal components as shown. Tighten parts as indicated.
Step 6
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second pedestal.
Step 7
Place pedestals on each side of the interior storage cabinet. It is recommended to place the pedestals and storage cabinet in their final location during this step.
Step 8
Place the credenza top. Use parts G and I from the H-6859 storage cabinet for this step. Tighten as indicated.
Step 9
Remove the top drawer of the pedestals by pressing down onto the plastic tabs on the slides and pulling out.
Place the credenza top on top of the pedestals and storage cabinet.
To attach the top, insert M6 x 40 mm screw from the underside of the pedestals and storage cabinet.
NOTE: Pedestals include four each of the M6 x 40 mm screws, and the storage cabinet includes six each of the M6 x 40 mm screws.
Step 10
Attach the hinges. Tighten as indicated.
NOTE: Pre-installed hinge screws may need to be tightened or loosened to align cabinet doors.
Step 11
Insert parts F, G, and K as shown. Tighten as indicated.
NOTE: The top panel (6) from the H-6859 storage cabinet carton will be unused for the storage credenza. Please discard.
Completed Assembly
The Uline H-8224 Storage Credenza is now assembled.
