Product Overview

The dormakaba RCI YD30 Series electronic locks are reliable, secure, and convenient motor-driven locks featuring a collapsing mechanism that is deadbolted when locked. They are designed to secure commercial single or double-acting doors, addressing two significant challenges in door locking: aligning misaligned doors and releasing under excessive load.

The YD30 series enables users to control access and provide traffic reports. It can also be integrated into simpler systems for controlling access to a single door via a stand-alone RTE (Request-to-Exit) access system.

YD30D Double

A high-traffic, low-voltage, motor-driven door lock suitable for 180° swing doors. It is typically activated by access control systems and used in commercial double entrance doors, whether mortise or surface installed, as well as swing-through glass doors where security, convenience, and appearance are paramount. The pivot action of the YD30D bolt pin helps pull the door into position for misalignment up to 16mm (+/-8mm). It is found across various market sectors, primarily in commercial, healthcare, airports, and government facilities.

YD30S Single

A high-traffic, low-voltage, motor-driven door lock designed for 90° doors. It is typically activated by access control systems and used in single-acting pedestrian doors where door alignment or releasing under sideload is required. The pivot action of the YD30S bolt pin helps pull the door into position for misalignment up to 8mm (5/16"). It is commonly seen in mortise installations on office doors and also used on single-acting glass doors where security, convenience, and appearance are important.
