Getting Started
Wired Mode
Connect via USB for the highest audio quality (up to 24bit/96kHz) or use the 3.5mm analog connection for compatibility with mobile devices and consoles. The wired mode selector also powers off the headset when not charging or connected wirelessly.
Wireless Mode (PC)
To enable wireless mode, set the selector to "Wireless" and connect the USB transmitter to a USB port on your PC. The headset operates up to 60 feet (18.2m) from the transmitter, but performance may be affected by obstructions. The headset automatically enters sleep mode after 10 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life and wakes up when moved.
Important: The operating system will automatically install the device driver for the transmitter upon first connection. Reboot your PC after the driver loads.
Wireless Mode (PlayStation 4/PlayStation 4 PRO)
Connect the wireless USB transmitter to a USB port on your PS4 or PS4 PRO console. Use the PlayStation UI (Settings > Devices > Audio Devices) to adjust game and chat volume. Note: 7.1 surround sound is not supported on PlayStation consoles.
Ensure the headset is fully charged before first use by connecting it via the included USB charging cable to a USB Type-A port.
The headset battery has no "memory effect" and does not require full discharge before recharging. Use a high-power USB port (2.0 or higher) for charging.
Battery Status LED Indications (On Headset)
- LOW: RED LED pulses while charging, solid green when fully charged. Blinks based on power level when not charging.
- MEDIUM: ORANGE LED.
- HIGH: GREEN LED.
Wireless Status LED Indications (On Wireless USB Transmitter)
- Solid White: Transmitter connected and operating normally.
- Rapid Red Blink: Transmitter cannot connect to the headset.
- If the headset and transmitter are on and the LED is still blinking red, use iCUE software to re-pair them.
Microphone Control
- Short press (0.1-1s) on mute button: Toggles microphone mute on/off (microphone status LED turns RED when muted).
- Long press (2-4s) on mute button: Toggles sidetone on/off.
Note: iCUE software can also be used to control these features.
iCUE Software

For Optimal Wireless Performance
- Place the wireless adapter in an open, unobstructed area.
- Ensure the battery is fully charged before initial use.
- Do not leave the battery fully discharged for long periods; partial charging maximizes battery life.
- Disable RGB lighting effects in iCUE to extend battery life if not needed.
- Store the headset at room temperature (20-30°C or 68-86°F).
Note: Prolonged listening at high volumes may adversely affect hearing. Take breaks and start with the volume at the lowest possible level before increasing.
