Inserting the Memory Card
The V3 accepts Micro SD memory cards (Class 10 or higher) with a maximum capacity of 256GB.
Important: Using an incompatible memory card may damage the device or corrupt data. Rexing recommends using Micro SD cards specifically designed for dash cams. Find recommendations at www.rexingusa.com/memory-card/.

Powering the Camera
Connect the V3 to a power source using the included car charger cable. Connect the larger end to the vehicle's cigarette lighter (12V DC power outlet) and the Mini-USB end to the device.
Warning: Improperly connecting the charger can cause serious damage. Use only Rexing-approved chargers. Damage from unapproved chargers is not covered by warranty.
If the device receives unstable power, the screen may not function properly. Contact Customer Care at care@rexingusa.com if issues persist with an approved charger.
Connecting the car charger to the car's 12V DC outlet
Route the cable from the camera to the vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter port. Ensure you use only Rexing-approved chargers designed for this device to prevent injury or damage.

6. Troubleshooting
Updating Firmware
Firmware updates are recommended only if experiencing issues. Installing incorrect firmware can damage the device.
Steps to update firmware:
- Format the memory card (See Page 16).
- Note your current firmware version (See Page 35).
- Visit the firmware section of rexingusa.com to find the correct firmware.
- Download the firmware zip file to your computer.
- Unzip the file.
