Troubleshooting

If you encounter problems setting up or using your monitor, you may be able to resolve them yourself. Before contacting your dealer or Lenovo, try the recommended actions for your problem.

The power indicator is white, but there is no image.	The monitor's power switch is not on. The power cord is loose or disconnected. There is no power at the outlet. Image quality is unacceptable.	The video signal cable is loose or disconnected from the system or monitor. The video signal cable is not fully connected to the monitor or system. The automatic image adjustment function was not performed (LCD monitor). The system is set to a display mode not supported by this monitor. Color settings may be incorrect. Monitor brightness and contrast are set to the lowest setting.	Ensure the video signal is properly connected to the system. Ensure the signal cable is securely connected to the system and monitor. Perform automatic image adjustment (LCD monitor). If replacing an old monitor, reconnect and adjust the display mode to within the specified range for your new monitor. When using a Windows system, restart the system in safe mode, then select a supported display mode for your monitor. Select a different color setting in the OSD menu. Adjust the brightness and contrast settings via the OSD (On Screen Display) menu.
There is a screen message stating "Out of Range" or "HZ?".	The system is set to a display mode not supported by this monitor.	If you are replacing an old monitor, reconnect and adjust the display mode to within the specified range for your new monitor. When using a Windows system, restart the system in safe mode, and then select a supported display mode for your monitor.
There is no image and the power indicator is blinking white.	The video signal cable is loose or disconnected from the system or monitor. The video signal cable is not fully connected to the monitor or system.	Ensure the video signal is properly connected to the system. Ensure the signal cable is securely connected to the system and monitor.
The power indicator is not lit and there is no image.	The power cord is loose or disconnected. There is no power at the outlet.	Check if the power cord is properly connected. Ensure the outlet has power. Try using a different power cord. Try using a different outlet.
