#R5INVENTED: Distinctive and emotional design

With its cheeky grin, the front of the Renault 5 beams at you. Featuring a subtle tricolour flag, the headlights seem to give a knowing wink. The design is sleek and the lines remain effortlessly elegant. With a customisable roof and vibrant pop yellow colour, the Renault 5 is reimagining emotional design.

ICONIC DESIGN

Instantly recognisable by its sleek grille and distinctive headlights, the Renault 5 has reinterpreted and refreshed the details of its seventies predecessor. The two rectangular shapes with rounded corners pay homage to the classic Renault 5 Turbo.

At the rear, the lights are vertically aligned, contributing to the Renault 5's aerodynamic shape. Moulding marked with a '5' emphasises the boot line, while the shark fin aerial punctuates the roof, which is edged with a contrasting roofline.

As a reminder, the bonnet ventilation grille has a new function. Transformed into a charge indicator, the number '5' illuminates when the driver approaches or when the battery is at its maximum.

• Mobilize power solutions: Order your charging solution and installation from a dealership. Install your Renault approved home charger via Mobilize power solutions.
• Mobilize smart charge: Smart charging means you pay less. Try the free Mobilize Smart Charge app for smart charging management to get electricity at the best price, and save on charging at home.
• Maximum 11 kW AC charging: Charge Renault 5 E-Tech electric easily at home using a wall-mounted charging point or when you are on the move, where Renault 5 will take a maximum of 11kW on AC.
• My Renault app: Check your range at any time, start charging remotely or schedule it at off-peak times. My Renault also offers further benefits, such as setting the cabin temperature remotely, meaning you can always get into a warm or cool car, depending on your preferences.

On-the-go charging

• Mobilize charge pass: Make charging on the road easier and pay less. Charge Renault 5 quickly and easily on the move with a pass to Europe's largest charging network at attractive rates. With the Plug & Charge function, you no longer need to use a pass or credit card; Renault 5 and the charging station recognise each other: simply plug in your vehicle and charging starts automatically. You are invoiced directly, with no action required.
• Up to 100kW DC rapid charge: Charge Renault 5 quickly and easily when you are on the move; with up to 100 kW DC available, depending on the battery. This means around 30mins of charge will top your car up from 15% to 80% charge.
• My Renault app: Locate the public charging points closest to your destination.

#R5SOURCEFUL: Bidirectional functionality

The Renault 5 has bidirectional functionality, meaning the energy stored in its battery can be redistributed. This capability allows it to power electrical devices through Vehicle to Load (V2L) technology. Using an adapter connected to the charging port, standard 3-pin appliances can be powered directly from the car.

Active driver assist

This system regulates your speed by taking the road environment into account, maintains safe distances and ensures you remain in lane. When traffic slows down, the vehicle stops and restarts automatically.

Automatic emergency braking

Warns the driver of an imminent risk of frontal collision with a stationary vehicle or an obstacle, at low speed. Triggers automatic emergency braking to avoid or mitigate a collision.

Front detection with emergency trajectory correction

The system warns you of a potential collision with an overtaking vehicle in the adjacent lane. If a collision is likely, it performs an automatic emergency trajectory correction.

Parking sensors

Provides acoustic and visual warning of the proximity of obstacles in front of you, behind you or to your side.

Occupant safe exit alert

Warns of danger when stationary, if you or a passenger opens one of the doors while another vehicle pops up.
