Important safety instructions

⚡ The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage" within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

[Equipment Support Symbol] This symbol is intended to alert the user--- Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the apparatus. When a cart is used, use caution when moving the cart/apparatus combination to avoid injury from tip-over.

User instructions: After you turn on the banTamP, the tube warms up for the first 20-30 seconds; the unstable sound during this period is normal.

  • For your safety and to become familiar with this product, please read all the safety and operation instructions before use.
  • Please keep this user manual for future use and maintenance.
  • Please follow all the safety instructions on the product or in the user manual.
  • Use the attached power adapter only. Using other power adapters may damage internal circuits or increase noise.
  • Keep it away from children!
  • Please install this product according to manufacturer's instructions. Place it in a location with good ventilation and heat dissipation. Do not block any ventilation openings or cover it with cloth.
  • Do not use it near water or damp areas; do not drop water or other liquid substances into this product.
  • Do not use it near heat sources, such as heaters, electrothermal ovens, high power amplifiers, and more.
  • Do not place hazardous chemicals, inflammable, or explosive substances like alcohol or thinner on the product.
  • Do not use alcohol or other cleaning fluids to clean this product, as this will damage the surface. Use a clean dry cloth when necessary.
  • Do not damage the power cord or plug. Do not pull the power cord or other parts. Please unplug it if you need to move this product.
  • Please turn off the power switch and unplug the AC power socket during thunderstorms, lightning, or if the product is not in use for a long time.
  • Should any of the following occur, please switch it off, unplug it, and contact your local distributor or have it repaired by qualified personnel:
    1. A metal or other solid object or liquid falls into the cabinet, or it gets caught in the rain.
    2. The power cord or power plug is damaged, the cable core is exposed, or the wire is broken.
    3. The product emits smoke, a peculiar smell, or is in any other abnormal condition.
    4. The product falls on the ground or malfunctions.

Front Panel

1. Head's Model: Model vs Sound Characteristics

2. Guitar Input: Connect your guitar here.

3. Channel Switch: Use to select the amplifier channel.

4. Bluetooth Switch: Turns the banTamP's Bluetooth function on or off.

5. Gain Knob: Adjusts the amp's distortion level.

6. Tone Knob: Adjusts the amp's tone brightness.

7. Volume Knob: Adjusts the amp's volume level.

8. Power/Bluetooth Indicator: The indicator turns red when the banTamP is powered on. When the Bluetooth switch is turned on, the indicator changes from red to blue.

9. Power Switch: Turns the banTamP on or off.

Rear Panel

10. Bluetooth Antenna: For Bluetooth connectivity.

11. Speaker Output: Connect to a speaker with an impedance of 8Ω or higher. Note: Connecting a speaker with impedance greater than 8Ω will reduce the banTamP's power output.

12. Power Interface: Connects to the included DC 18V/2.0A power adapter for power supply. Ensure you use the attached power adapter.

13. Headphone Output: The amplifier's sound is muted when headphones are connected.

14. FX LOOP: Connects an effect pedal's input to the banTamP's SEND jack, and an effect pedal's output to the banTamP's RETURN jack.

Connection

Bluetooth Connection

  1. Turn on the Bluetooth slide switch.
  2. The power indicator changes from red to blue.
  3. Switch on the Bluetooth on your equipment. Wait for it to locate the banTamP. The names displayed may vary depending on the model purchased; they are typically found on the upper side of the banTamP's input jack (e.g., "ZOMBIE").
  4. Select the related device and pair it.

Cabinet Impedance Matching

The recommended speaker impedance for the banTamP is 8Ω for maximum power output. 16Ω speakers are also compatible, but will result in reduced power output. It is important not to connect speakers with an impedance less than 8Ω.

Warning: Please do not connect with speaker impedance that is less than 8Ω!
