I. Warnings

Do not disassemble or repair this unit by yourself.
Do not use or store this unit in high temperature, high humidity, dirty, or strong shock places.
Do not drop this unit or bump it on hard surfaces.
Do not use cleaning liquid or alcohol to clean this unit, as it may cause damage.
Remove batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period.
Please turn off the power after use.
Please dispose of used batteries properly.
Please replace the battery when the LED light is dim.
Do not adjust the volume to a very loud sound when using earphones, to prevent ear damage or headphone breakage.
Keep the unit away from places with iron filings to prevent them from being attracted to the speaker, which could affect sound quality.

II. Part Names and Functions

This section describes the components of the JOYO JA-02 amplifier:

① LED Light: Indicates the power status.
② Volume Knob: Adjusts the overall sound volume.
③ Tune Knob: Adjusts the tone (high/low frequency balance).
④ Power and Switches:
- OFF: Cuts the power.
- ON: Provides a clean sound.
- OD: Provides a distortion sound.
⑤ Main Input Jack: A 6.35mm jack for connecting your guitar.
⑥ DC 9V Adapter Jack: For connecting an external 9V power adapter.
⑦ Auxiliary Channel Input Jack: A 3.5mm jack for connecting MP3 players or CD players for accompaniment.
⑧ Earphone Output Jack: A 3.5mm jack for connecting headphones.
⑨ Battery Cabinet: Houses a 9V 6F22 battery.

III. Battery Replacement

Gently press the front of the battery cover and slide it back to remove. Take out the old battery.
Insert a new 9V battery into the compartment, ensuring the negative (-) pole faces inward. Reattach the cover by inserting the front edge first, then pressing down and pushing to close.

IV. How to Use the Small Guitar Amplifier

To use accompaniment, connect an external audio source (like a CD player or MP3 player) to the 3.5mm Auxiliary Channel Input Jack. The volume of the accompaniment is controlled by the external device itself, not the amplifier. Adjust the external device's volume before turning on the power.
Turn the switch to the 'ON' position for a clean guitar sound. Adjust the volume using the Volume Knob and the tone using the Tone Knob.
Turn the switch to the 'OD' position for a distortion effect. Adjust the volume using the Volume Knob and the tone using the Tone Knob. The degree of distortion is fixed and cannot be changed directly via the amplifier's controls; it can be influenced by the guitar's output volume.
For the loudest sound output, it is recommended to connect the amplifier to an external power adapter.
