3. Connection
3.1 Connect to the Input Source
The TP30D offers five types of input interfaces: USB, Optical, Coaxial, Bluetooth, and AES.

3.2 Connect to Amplifier or Active Speakers
Use XLR or RCA cables to connect to your amplifier or active speakers. To avoid damage to your devices, please turn off the amplifier or active speakers before connecting them to the TP30D.

4. Operation
4.1 Power On & Off / Standby Operation
- Power On/Off: Use the power switch located on the rear panel to turn the TP30D on or off.
- Standby: While operating, press and hold the front panel knob to enter standby mode. Press the knob again to exit standby. Alternatively, use the standby button [Power Symbol] on the remote control to enter or exit standby.
4.2 Volume Setting
- Mute/Unmute: Press the mute button [Mute Symbol] on the remote control to mute the TP30D. Press it again or adjust the volume to exit mute state.
- Volume Adjusting: Turn the front panel volume knob or use the [+] and [-] buttons on the remote control to adjust the volume. Note that long-pressing the [+] or [-] buttons will quickly change the volume. Please operate with care to protect your hearing.
Note: In DAC mode, the volume is fixed at 0dB and cannot be adjusted. Refer to [Setup Menu - Advanced - DAC Mode].
4.3 Input Channel Switching
Touch the [Input Symbol] button on the front panel or press the [<] or [>] buttons on the remote control to cycle through the input sources.
4.4 Output Channel Switching
Press the [Line Out Symbol] button on the remote control to cycle through the output channels. You can also switch output channels by pressing the knob, but this requires setting [Setup Menu - Advanced - Button] to "Output Select" (default).
5. Setup Menu
5.1 Enter Menu and Change Settings
Front Panel Buttons:
- Press [Menu Symbol]: Enter/exit the setup menu or return to the parent menu.
- Press [Return Symbol]: Exit the setup menu.
- Rotate Knob: Cycle through setting items.
- Press Knob: Change setting/Confirm/Enter sub-menu.
Remote Control:
- [+]: Enter setup menu/Confirm.
- [<]: Change setting.
- [>]: Change setting.
- [Menu Symbol]: Enter/exit setup menu or return to parent menu.
5.2 Display Settings
1. Display
1.1 Home Page
Choose the home page display: Normal (Default), VU, FFT.
1.2 Brightness
Options: Low, Medium (Default), High, Auto. In Auto mode, the screen dims after 30 seconds of inactivity and displays only the current input. Any button press will wake the screen.
1.3 Classic VU 0dB
Set the reference voltage for the VU meter. For example, setting it to +4dBu means the pointer at 0dB indicates an output level of +4dBu.
Options: +4dBu (Default), +10dBu.
1.4 Level Meter
Configure VU meter display: All on (Default), Normal page, FFT page, All off.
2. Input Select
Choose the input source: USB (Default), Optical, Coaxial, AES, Bluetooth.
3. Output Select
Choose the output mode: SE (RCA only), BAL (XLR only), ALL (Default - RCA and XLR).
4. On/Off Trigger
- Signal (Default): The device turns on with an input signal. It enters standby if no valid signal is detected for 1 minute.
- 12V: The device turns on/off via a 12V trigger signal. Connect to a 12V Trigger Out from another device.
- Off: Disables this function.
5. PCM Filter
Select a PCM filter: F-1: Fast roll off linear (Default), F-2: Fast roll off minimum, F-3: Slow roll off linear, F-4: Slow roll off minimum, F-5: No over sampling, F-6: Ultra-fast roll off linear, F-7: Ultra-fast roll off minimum, F-8: Brick-wall linear, F-9: Brick-wall minimum.
6. Advanced
6.1 Channel Balance
Adjust channel balance: C (Balance), L+0.5~9.5dB, or R+0.5~9.5dB (Default: C).
6.2 Output Level
Set maximum output level at 0dBFS: 4V (Default), 5V.
6.3 DAC Mode
Select DAC mode: PRE (Default - Volume adjustable), DAC (Max volume, not adjustable).
6.4 Bluetooth
Enable/Disable Bluetooth: Enabled (Default), Disabled.
6.5 Remote
Enable/Disable remote control: Enabled (Default), Disabled.
6.6 Button
Customize the function of the press knob. Options include Output select (Default), Home select, Brightness select, Dim screen, Filter select, Mute, Input select.
7. Language
Select language: English, Chinese.
8. Factory Reset
Select "Yes" or "No" to confirm factory reset. Press the middle button on the remote or the front-panel knob to confirm.
