Key Features and Applications

The SENTRON PAC3200 is suitable for basic metering and energy monitoring. It can be used as a standalone device monitoring over 50 parameters or as part of a larger industrial control, building automation, or global power monitoring system. Applications range from replacing simple analog volt and amp meters to implementing standalone sub-billing or cost allocation systems with multiple tariffs. It also supports LEED certification and provides energy metering data for government energy reduction programs.

The SENTRON PAC3200 offers open communications via Modbus RTU/TCP and PROFIBUS-DP protocols, enabling easy integration into local or remote monitoring systems. Configuration is straightforward, accessible directly from the front display or via the PC-based SENTRON powerconfig setup software.

Device Dimensions: 96 mm x 96 mm (3.78 in. x 3.78 in.).

Display: Features a full graphic LCD display that indicates display title, measurements, phase, measured value, unit, and function key labels. The display is gradually adjustable for optimum visibility in various lighting conditions.

Operating Menu: Texts can be displayed in multiple languages, selectable directly on the device. The menu includes options such as SETTINGS, DEVICE INFORMATION, LANGUAGE/REGIONAL, BASIC PARAMETERS, POWER DEMAND, and ENERGY COUNTER.

Connectivity: Modbus TCP is integrated as standard. Expansion modules for PROFIBUS DP and MODBUS RTU are available for remote data transmission. Terminal blocks are provided for voltage and current measuring, control power, and digital input/output.
